Camping Lugano Lake is situated in an area of particular beauty: a true nature park on the shores of Lake Lugano, surrounded by Alpine mountains and lush vegetation. Comfort and contact with nature are distinctive features of this green oasis which hosts 270 pitches. A lovely private beach is at your disposal to get the full benefit from the lakeside atmosphere. A lakeside cycle path, a soccer pitch and volleyball court are available for sports lovers, not to mention the activities that the region has to offer; excursions, paragliding, trekking, biking and water sports, to name but a few. A playground on-site caters to the needs of our younger adventurers. Our kiosk is stocked with typical local products, provides refreshments and is our meeting point for aperitifs and after dinner drinks. The structure, which is open from April 1st to October 31st, is the perfect location for those who want to spend a holiday of full relax in the nature with their family!

We stayed there for four nights with our tent and had a very good experience with the staff and overall the camping site. They have everything you need on site (lavatories, washing, adapter cable, ...) and everything was in great shape.

I can highly recommend this camping. Staff was very friendly, location next to the lake is great. The free Ticino card gives you public transport access to Lugano. The restaurant operates as a separate business, on the camping. As a result, the camping staff is focused on the camping, the restaurant staff is focused on the food, which leads to great satisfaction in both areas. I don't see this at a lot of campings, where either the restaurant is lower prio than the camping operations or vice versa.

A beautiful camping location with lakeside spots and easy access to the local town and broader Lugano region. Friendly staff and the shop/bar had good food and drink options. However, the practical side of the campsite was a letdown. We had a premium spot, and when we arrived, there was rubbish on the pitch, and the ground was so hard it bent pegs. Two out of the three nights we were there were disturbed by late-night noise, and camp management did not seem to intervene. Showers were ok but had better quality from campsites in Switzerland. I would be inclined to try another campsite nearby rather than return.

Since a year I have a fixed camper on site and must say that Camping Lugano lake is beautifully located, always friendly staff, clean facilities, great gardening and always a superb time. You can easily travel to all Ticino destinations on the public transport ticket which you can get at the counter for a few Franks. Also, it only takes you 15min per train to the border city Ponte Tresa, with its beautiful Saturday Market with fresh Italian produce. All in all, this place is paradise

Me and my family stopped here for one night on our way to Italy. We weren’t here for long but have to say the place is very nice. Easy to find and in a good location with a few views of mountains in the distance and local amenities close by. The facilities on site were also good with an excellent shower block and little bar to grab a quick beer. In our group there were two vehicles with four people and the price was very reasonable. If I’m passing through this area again I will try to spend a bit more time here so I can explore the local area on our scooter!!
