A warm welcome from our host Toni and her beautiful dog Mikalia, and two happy young violin students , was introduction to a very pleasant overnight stay for two weary and slightly handicapped travellers. The spacious room had a view over a beautiful garden with fields beyond. Enjoyed our wide ranging conversations with Toni. Would have liked of stayed longer.

Had a super stay here while on a walking tour in the area in late October. It was a great experience overall, from the very comfortable bed to the delicious breakfast. Toni, the host, is warm and personable. Plus the house has a lovely garden, and it's in a very quiet spot. It was a great experience overall.

I had an awesome few days stay here at this welcoming B&B a couple of weeks ago - fabulous, very comfortable accommodation, with easy access to local tourist attractions and walks in the countryside. Lovely garden. Friendly, helpful host and breakfasts that set you up for the day! This was a great location for a much needed comfort holiday in one of my favourite parts of the UK.

What a welcoming and beautiful B&B this is! We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Devon and can’t fault this place at all. The owner is delightful and nothing is too much trouble. She is very helpful and informative about things to do in the local area and we built such a rapport with her during our short stay that we left feeling more like friends than guests. The room was spacious and clean with more than adequate toiletries and clean linen and we also got to meet the fabulous resident dog who was an added bonus to our delightful stay. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and set us up for the day. I would highly recommend this fabulous, homely B&B and we hope to return soon. Thank you for such a pleasant and enjoyable stay!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your visit was a delight. I tend to respond to reviews I receive privately, as indeed I have done with you, but am also writing this publicly, to reassure any non dog lovers, that my 'fabulous resident dog' is kept separately in a different part of the house from Elmhirst and Holst, so if any one reading this is apprehensive, there is no need to be. She is an optional extra!.
