We called in to check out the refurbishments that had taken place since our last visit, and wow what a fantastic job they have done. We had lunched there before, but never stayed overnight, so we were really impressed with the quality of the bathroom fittings and all the extra's in the room like the 42" t.v., mini fridge, coffee... The Godolphin is at the base of the causeway to St Michael's Mount. 12 years ago when I was in Marazion I took a picture of the hotel so when I returned last week there was no question in my mind as to where I would stay. My understanding is that the hotel has completely refurbished earlier this year. We... More

Just had a 3 night break at the Godolphin . The room was great , very comfortable bed , great facilities and lots of great attention to detail . The food was fantastic - we didn't even bother to look elsewhere to eat ! Breakfast and dinner each day was very very well cooked and plentiful . Great service from... More

Stayed for a weekend, bedroom very comfortable, lovely bathroom, all finished to a very high standard. The breakfast and evening meal were delicious. The view from our balcony was amazing. We will certainly go back.

We chose this hotel based on a review in the Sunday 'Observer' newspaper where the hotel was one of "Best Five Places to Stay in England for Walkers." It is in a fabulous location in Cornwall-right opposite St. Michael's Mount and on the South West Coast Path. Marazion is a lovely little community and we stayed for two nights. When... More

We stayed in Cornwall to visit friends for the half term break. This place looks fantastic and is fantastic. Evening diner for our family of four including wine, dessert, coffee was fantastic value as was the huge Cornish breakfast. Would definitely love to go back in the future.

We stayed for one night at this hotel (sea-view room) and can't complain or fault anything in the room. It had an oversize queen bed with stunning views of the mount, all the luxuries you expect in a quality hotel (bathrobes, decent towels, coffee machine, potions and lotions etc) and a really decent sized clean bathroom with a great waterfall... Stayed here some years ago and while we had a super bedroom (the one at the top with the round window) overlooking the Mount, the place looked tired and the food was average. During the last year or two, the whole Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard, and by way of frequent email updates, it tempted us back... More

We stayed here several times before but this was the first time since its make over and renovations. The service was top notch , warm attentive and friendly. We ate dinner both nights in the restaurant which was also of a high standard. Good choices at breakfast and the same friendly service. We stayed in a town view room which... More

Stayed for two nights in the two-bedroom family suite with balcony looking straight at St. Michael's Mount. Rooms very clean, great bathroom, all mod cons including a very fancy new coffee maker. I expressed some concern that I would have to go through my son and daughter-in-law's bedroom to get to the bathroom so I was offered a lovely single... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
