Great hotel and staff but the room let it down. We stayed in room 9 which must have been above a delivery entrance because we were woken up at 7.15 each morning to banging and crashing which lasted around 20 minutes. Also our first storey room was right next to a bus stop so when a double decker bus pulled... More

Booked hotel for my 50th birthday as my sister went last year and had a lovely time. The room had a sea view but it was not anything like the ones pictured on the website. It was tucked away downstairs and underneath the restaurant so was constantly noisy. There was a view but through a sash window which was positioned... More

We have never stayed here but we have eaten in the restaurant and enjoyed beer on the terrace both over looking the stunning St Micheal's mount. The food and beer have usually been very good and the staff very helpful and attentive

We only had a short one night stay either side of our Scilly Isles holiday but were made very welcome and allocated a fantastic table for dinner with stunning views of St Michael's Mount. Excellent restaurant- we had a very good meal. Rooms were great with good beds/quality linen and lovely bathrooms stocked with White Company toiletries. Perfect for families!... More

We stayed mid August and had the pleasure of staying in room 2 which had a sea view. The room is below the restaurant so tends to be noisy but the fantastic view of St Michael's mount made up for it. The quality of the food was superb. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. However- we love seafood... More

The Godolphin Arms Hotel is a wonderful hotel! From the moment we checked in until the day we checked out, we had great service during check in and check out, room service, the bar, and restaurant. We had an amazing ocean view looking towards St. Michael's Mt. Castle. We could raise the window and watch people walking back and forth... More

We (husband and kids 12 & 15) stayed for three nights in July. We had room 11, the family room with the large round window. If you were in the room, you had to look at the superb view of St. Michael's Mount. Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms looked recently renovated. The private parking was great. Food was very good.... The small hotel with only 11 rooms is located just where the path to St. Michael's Mount begins. If you order a room with sea view you will enjoy the beautiful scene of tide covering and uncovering the footpath and of course of the Mount.

This hotel is in a fabulous location with over half the 11 rooms over looking St michaels mount. Rooms 1 & 2 on the lower ground floor are very noisy. We stayed two nights and the hotel very kindly moved us to a room on the upper floor for the second night. Restaurant is a very noisy and hectic and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
