Brilliantly run local establishment with brilliant, friendly staff! We had a wonderfully comfortable room with amazing view of St Michael's Mount. Wonderfully present hotel and loved the pod coffee machine in room. Great food!

We stayed in room 11 which is a great family suite. The main bedroom has a round window with a brilliant view of St Michael's Mount. The ensuite has an amazingly powerful shower. The kid's room is separate and has bunk beds. The bathroom is opposite their room and has a lovely big bath. There is a fridge, ironing facilities,... More

I wanted to book somewhere special for my husbands birthday & the godolphin arms didn't disappoint. We were welcomed and shown to room 5, which was fresh & well presented. Wondeful view from balcony. Coffee machine & fresh milk in fridge allowed us to make a well needed coffee after our journey. Our dog made himself at home straight away... More

We went on a Sunday with my parents, the refurbishment is lovely but the things we wanted on the menu were gone and they failed to tell us until we ordered. The waiter was helpful and had a big smile... that probably stopped me giving my opinion quite so abruptly. We did feel a bit crammed in to the seating... More

Fantastic views out to mounts bay picture postcard Windows. They were big on the cream teas with the tea from Cornwall locally I think it's from the Tregothan estate and... More

Loved the hotel. Room was terrific. Had a stunning view of the sea and Michael's Mount. Breakfast was great. Can't remember the server we had for breakfast (he used to be a footman at Michael's Mount and worked in D.C. for years) was delightful. We enjoyed speaking with him. A bit disappointed with dinner the night we checked in. There... More

A warm welcome to a very family and dog friendly hotel followed by delicious meals and great nights in the comfy rooms. Our first stay since the hotel was refurbished and we were impressed by the new décor and how bright all the rooms are, both public and the bedrooms, letting in the wonderful seaside light. As ever Geoffrey was... More

Stayed one night in September and had a lovely room with sea view, staff were really amazing and very friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant that night and again food was great and not overly priced, had a lovely table overlooking the sea. Our room was quite, clean and charming.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
