This is a gorgeous B&B in a beautiful Cornish village with distant views out to sea. Clean and good quality rooms and furnishings. Be sure to negotiate on the rate for your room - deals are there to be had. And a word of warning - should you have the misfortune to have to complain - be wary, the host... More

Dean, I must say, we are quite perplexed. This is our first ever ‘Poor’ rating in over 5 years and what has left us feeling really rather bemused is that it comes hot on the heels of your ‘Excellent Review’ of St Michaels B&B, which our more observant readers will have noted you posted on 13th July 2016 when you... Was a little apprehensive about this place having received a 20 page document on terms and conditions. Thought there would be notes everywhere telling you what you could and could not do. Wrong. We were asked to sign in however which we aren't usually for a b&b. Paul has a hint of basil fawlty about him. Loved the place. So... More

The ideal location for visiting this part of Cornwall. St Michael's gives visitors a spotlessly clean room, easy car parking, and superb breakfasts, what a pity Paul and Allison can't do anything about the West Country weather. They manage everything else with a smooth efficiency.

This was a great property to stay in to access St Michaels Mount and Mousehole and southern areas of Cornwall. Paul and Alison are very good hosts and Paul really happy to give advice on all aspects of where to go for the day and help you plan your trip. Alison kindly did our washing for a small fee which... Nice room, great breakfast, great location 5 mins walk to st Michaels mount. Hosts nice and like to chat/provide advice of you need it. Only doesn't get 5 stars as I felt at the upper end of price but know there were some hotels much more expensive.

Thanks Mandy for your very good review - and thanks for digging deep in your pocket to stay with us. You're right, we're less than 1/2 the price of some hotels in Marazion but I hope you agree we do provide really good value for money and do extraordinary breakfasts. Looking forward to having you back to stay some time,... More

Stayed here with 5 friends when walking in the area. The rooms were lovely, the owner friendly knowledgeable and chatty and the breakfast was delicious.
