Adegas do Pico it's a fantastic place to spend a few days with the Pico atmosphere, on nice traditional restored rural houses well decorated and with a great comfort. Some of the houses have a pellets stove what can be a great extra for winter holidays. Bring a good book and slow down while the fog is outside covering the...

Adegas do Pico is the most amazing place that you can stay. The buildings are modernized old ruins with a great view just a short walk from the only sand beach on the island. The buildings are privately located on the hill. The houses have all you need to have a relaxing stay on this amazing island. The owner Jose...

Loved our stay by the sea in this beautiful restored stone cottage in a tiny village. The cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. (Wifi was available at the reception) The cottage even survived what seemed like gale force winds during a stormy night. Jose was super helpful with confirming plans for a climb up Pico Mountain, rearranging our whale...

We loved this place. It has beautiful views over the village to the sea and has been renovated very thoughtfully. The staff at Adegas do Pico could not have been more helpful, both before our arrival and during our stay. They arranged whale watching for us and suggested great places to eat. They even managed to contact us before we...

We got a wonderful, pittoresque cottage with a stunning view over the sea and Sao Jorge. Placed 2-3 minutes drive from the center of the village so it really felt like you where on the countryside. The small house had a nice bedroom, bathroom with good standard, a small kitchen and a small patio. Cosy and cute! Only thing you...

Dear Megafred, Thank you for your comment, for your kind words and patience. We are happy to know that our house and the village left you with a good impression. Indeed Festa da Poça was quite loud. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the staff at the front desk told us where to find the highlights of the island and where we could find a good restaurant. The house is located in a quiet village. It was clean and has everything you need. I would truly recommend this accommodation for others!

Professional, excellent and warm service. These are the keys to the success of Adegas do Pico. We rented a specific cottages via the travel agency but after booking were informed could not get our preferred cottage, so we got Bananeiras instead.
