Nice location, clean, good room sizes and comfy beds.
Next to all activities that are offered in Pico (Pico climbing, diving, whale watching, harbour to Faial etc).
Breakfast offer was large and good compare to other hotels we stayed in.
On Aug 16 knowing that the season is at a peak and potential for not getting a room as a 'walk in' the staff made a fantastic effort in getting us a suite.

We have stayed 5 nights here and we can not complain.
Obviously it is not a luxury hotel but it is perfect for travellers - it is a great base to explore Azores. Breakfast was really good and decent choice.

The hotel faces the ferry terminal, but I would suggest you look at another hotel. The bath tub is built up from the floor, and difficult to get in and out of. I am 70 and I found it difficult. Had to grab on to the towel rack and get in and out. Lights in the hallway very dim, and the stairway down to the main floor is also very dim. Might be difficult for an elderly person if the elevator not working which it wasn't during our stay.
