What a lovely, quiet, low-key place... We spent 3 nights here and mornings we dove or snorkeled (never quite got to our hiking ;-) and afternoons just hung out, read books, or napped. The upstairs Main House is eye level with birds, has a queen-sized bed (good for those over 6'), lovely sitting area, great kitchen with real freezer/fridge and stove. Definitely bring groceries (we stopped in Los Barriles which has grocery store and produce stand). The only drawback was that the un-curtained wall of east-facing windows meant full-on sun at 6:30am, so if you want to sleep any later, bring an eyeshade :-). There was plenty of wind during our stay so we had good cross-ventilation, but in warmer weather I could see it might get hot.

We stayed in the Palapa Suite for 3 nights. The facilities are great and wished we had realized the outdoor kitchen was for our exclusive use, we might have brought groceries. Everything was better than expected, so why not a 5 star review? Well because some things are out of the facilities control. The Palapa suite is right next to the big house and we were unfortunate to have guests staying there that seem to not want peace and quiet. A female guest in particular would CONSTANTLY talk super load and seemed to always want to be complaining about something and her talking was incessant , it was all done during the day which was not the quiet hours, although on one morning she was up super early and TALKING, we just wanted to chill out and enjoy the beautiful place read a book or nap on the hammock. We realize we might just have been unlucky, and we WOULD return for sure, it's just a little close to a much bigger house that accommodates large groups, so just be aware that you are steps away from the big house.

Baja Bungalows is an affordable, clean and well-located place to stay while in Cabo Pulmo. Veronica, the host, is extremely helpful and maybe the friendliest person in town. Easy access to the beach, hiking and restaurants. A safe and comfortable location.

This is our second visit to the Bungalows. Just as great as the first, except that this time it was so GREEN and lush! Lots of bird and butterflies. Exceptional snorkeling and diving with Cabo Pulmo Diving. We brought our groceries in Cabo and cooked most of our meals in house. The water was clear and warm. Lynn went above and beyond, especially when we forgot one of our bags on the way to the airport and she rushed it to us where we met in La Ribera! There were 5 of us in the Main House. We used the upstairs apartment as our main hangout. Beautiful views and plenty of space for all of us. Looking forward to our next trip.

My girlfriend and I met in Cabo Pulmo after being apart for 8 months. Baja Bungalows was the perfect accommodation for our reunion! We stayed in Casa Veronica, a stand-alone bungalow behind the main house. It was so private and cozy, surrounded by a delicately-landscaped desert garden filled with cardinals and orioles that sang to us every morning and evening. The bungalows are just a few minutes walk from the center of Cabo Pulmo, so you get a perfect combination of space and privacy as well as convenience. Veronica, our host, was super helpful and full of information about the best activities in the area. Baja bungalows even had a shed full of gear that was free to use - whether to snorkel, kayak or just play on the beach. The vibes were just what we were looking for. The whole property is very clean, tastefully decorated, and masterfully integrated into the natural environment. Already looking forward to my next trip. Seriously can't recommend enough. It's hosts and places like this that make travel such a joy!

We just stayed at Baja Bungalows and would highly recommend it. Really nice accommodations. Elena was very helpful. Easy walking distance to everything in town. They also had all sorts of beach and snorkeling stuff you can borrow for free. If you are going to Cabo Pulmo, definitely check this place out.

I really shouldn't say good things about this place. It gets more difficult to reserve a room each year! As ever, Lynn and Kent are wonderful hosts. Also, there's an added spot to rent - "veronica's house" - since Veronica is off traveling instead of managing BB. Nothing much else to say that I haven't said before. I just love staying here! Oh, Kent totally hooked me up with the local town doctor. I didn't feel well for the first time during a visit there. Which saved me a trek into La Ribera!

Have stayed previously at Baja Bungalows, at the end of a gravel road, we were welcomed graciously by Kent and Lynn. Their newest property is the cozy, airy, and very private “Veronicas House” situated on a separate parcel from the main house, surrounded by trees filled with doves, hummingbirds and woodpeckers. The rooftop has great views to the ocean and the surrounding mountains as well. Large screened windows on 3 sides catch the breezes, and we loved the outdoor patio for breakfast and lounging. As all of their units are, this house is tastefully decorated, well supplied and immaculately clean. If your willing to go off the beaten path in Baja, you should drop them a line, but don’t tell too many other people

Another wonderful visit to BB. Tucked just off the beach, quiet, and with great landscaping to attract birds, this is down home tranquillo Mexico next to a National Marine Park. If I wasnt at the ocean, kayaking or swimming, I was photographing the birds. Can’t say enough about this place and the owners attention to detail. Great value.

Baja bungalows and the Eco Tour snorkeling trip were some of the highlights of our visit to the Baja Penninsula. Cabo Pulmo is small and quaint and the bungalows were basic but sweet. Hot water and beautiful gardens make it feel like home.
