This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful Chateau and it gets better each time. Anne is a lovely host that makes you feel welcome while still giving you space to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend a stay here. Spending New Years eve here was really special. For such an impressive house we... More

Anne is a superb host and the surrounding are amazing, a beautiful building thoughtfully furnished, it's homely and snug. We saw in the New Year with great wine, company and food. Right in the heart of the French countryside and the perfect place to get away from it all.

Recharge and get away from it all in this beautiful chateau in the Dordogne. The owner gives you a warm welcome, serves a satisfying breakfast and also cooks nice warm meals on most evenings. The pool set a bit behind the building is also lovely. Wifi only in the public area.

We stayed at the Chateau the day and evening of our wedding. Anne did a fantastic job of making us feel so very special. The room we stayed in was out of this world. The grounds are beautiful, and her dog is so sweet. She made sure that our meals were not just delivered timely, but in a gorgeous fashion.... More

The room was cozy, and very inviting. The breakfast everymorning was deliciuos. Although I didn't use it, the swimming pool was private, and over looked the valley below, and the water looked refreshing. Everything was delightful and over the top.

Had a lovely stay at Chayeau du Rayet. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Was made to feel very welcome by the owner and her beautiful dog Luna who is a real softie. Dinner is available on some nights and was excellent. Breakfast very good and flexible.

I was in the area on business and my colleague set me up to stay at the this beautiful Chateau. Anne, the hostess, is a lovely woman with the most refined demeanor. The rooms are modern with nice bathrooms. I arrived late and was offered some fine wine while chatting with some other guests. The Chateau has a moat and... More

This was our third visit to the lovely Chateau du Rayet" run very nicely by the charming "Chateauliene" Anne. My son got married at the Chateau in 2012, so we have fond memories of our time spent there. Recently we joined Anne and some of her guests, mainly Australians, for a lovely set course dinner menu at the Chateau. The... More
