We stayed at La Roche D'esteil in August for 1 week. We were getting married at Les Jardins Du Manoir D'Eyrignac located just a 5 minute drive away and we were looking for somewhere in close proximity to the venue as well as somewhere we could enjoy some R&R away from wedding stresses and we honestly could not have made...

My daughter and I spent three nights being wonderfully looked after by Martin and Karen at La Roche d'Esteil, that is both charming and beautiful not far from the town of the beautiful town of Sarlat. Breakfast was a meal to look forward to before we went exploring each day. The surrounding area holds many interesting sights and as it...

Having spend 4 nights in 'La Roche Esteil' was the best experiences in a Chambre d'Hotes we ever had. First of all the kindness, professionalism and the way Karen and Maarten are running this beautiful place is extraordinary. We immediately felt home and were nicely surprised about the very good standard. La Roche d'Esteil is situated about 7 km from...

The couple that own this Chambre d'hote are wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Martin and Karen made my wife and I feel like welcome guests who 'belonged' at this quaint and charming location. It is about 7 km away from Sarlat, which we valued....countryside, quiet area, farm land nearby, good access to town and the surrounding sites. Martin is a first...

This quaint gem is truly a hidden gem in Saint Nathalane, a stones throw away from Sarlat! Karen and Martin are the most kindest and pleasant people we have met on our 3 wk visit of France. Their place is quaint, exquisite, clean and so homely. There is nothing that they have left for you to do or feel you...

Just spent a week at this delightful b and b. Being recently widowed and holidaying alone Karyn and Maarten made me feel relaxed and very welcome even though I was the only English resident. A fabulous place to stay if you visit the Perigord region of the Dordogne. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and hope to stay...

The inn was lovely with 5 rooms, all differently and beautifully decorated in a mix of old farmhouse and modern shabby-chic. The grounds are landscaped with a spectacular mix of color and variety. Sparkling pool. Karyn and Martin, the owners, are welcoming and delightfully funny, accommodating, and great cooks. We will return, hopefully, next year. Such a nice surprise and...

I visited this B&B with my new wife for a mini-honeymoon after we got married this June. Everything about this B&B exceeded our expectations, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the proprietors were extremely friendly. The decor was fitting to the countryside in France however not outdated, the rooms were decorated well and the general vibe was that of...
