My husband and I stayed for 5 days at the end of September. The place is perfect to relax. The pool and the grounds overlook a wonderful valley. The views were stunning. We were relaxing by the pool and stargazing there in the evenings. It is very close to Sarlat, Domme and all the pretty medieval towns of the area. We...

We spent a week in Le Fournil 9/9/16. Chris and Kate have created a lovely haven with 4 self catering gites and a family home in an old sandstone farm and its outbuilding in a beautiful, rural spot 15 minutes from Sarlat. There are amazing views over the Dordogne valley and an excellent, solar heated clean saline pool. Le Fournil...

We spent a week's holiday here. Beautiful setting. The place is very well looked after.. All clean and well organised. The owners are lovely and very helpful. This is not a hotel so the comments below are irrelevant. We stayed a week with two teenagers and they used the pool daily. There is a book with recommendations of places to...

As a child, I would spend summers in the south of France often. This year, I wanted to show my husband this fantastic place, so we decided to spend a week in France. It was a given we'd stay in the Dordogne valley, but found this property through the HomeAway website and booked it right away. The owner was very...

We stayed in the La Petite Grange at La Ferme de la Tour in July 2016 for 2 weeks with our 5 month old baby. The accomodation was cleaned to a high standard and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a sheltered barn entrance which provided welcome shade and a lovely place for the bbq...

Birthday lunch with my mum. Excellent vodka martini followed by Dover sole and then soufflé. Not cheap but good value. Very attentive service and newly refurbished decor is lovely. Will be back again soon

We had a wonderful week staying at le Fournil - a one bedroom gite at La Ferme De La Tour. The view from the terrace is stunning and the accommodation is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for your stay. Great pool which provided welcome relief during what was a week of high temperatures. The location is...

After a crazy whirlwind week in Paris sightseeing and subway riding it was time to slow down and relax and this was the perfect place to do exactly that. My husband and I stayed at the La Grange along with our 21 year old daughter this first week of June. When researching places to stay on tripadvisor the first thing...

We stayed in the center of medieval Sarlat for one week then moved to this lovely spot in the country, staying in the one-bedroom Le Fournil for a second week. The apartment is beautifully maintained and decorated, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Kitchen is big and well-equipped. The patio has a table and chairs with great views, and there are some...

We've just spent two weeks in Le Fournil and would highly recommend it for a couple looking for a well appointed Gite. Chris and Kate are very helpful and unobtrusive hosts. The pool is great and the views from our terrace stunning. Watching the balloons rise over the Dordogne in the evening was magical.
