The perfect getaway is definitely at Anise Resort and Spa. Superb customer service starts even before you physically get there. The staff truly knows how to give guests a real VIP experience. Spa treatments were also amazing! The food was sooooo delicious. Literally every single meal. We will definitely stay with Anise again in future.

My husband and I booked Anise for our 11th Wedding Anniversary Staycation. We chose Anise despite the high price because it was "all inclusive". We arrived the Saturday, received our welcome drink from Margaret who has excellent customer service. We realized that there is no WiFi and immediately bought a data plan. Additionally there are no subscriptions to Digicel, Flow as such whilst there is TV in the room, you have to have your own DVD's in your possession. Saturday Night's Dinner was really nice, the ambience and setting was beautiful. On Sunday, we took a walk on the beach and had dinner. Everything was perfect. However on Sunday night electricity was taken off due to inclement weather at Toco/San Souci. The room we stayed in Jasmine was extremely hot and we could not have opened the sliding door due to the rain fly. When we went in the washroom - there was no water because there was no electricity. My husband found a dust bin and filled water and brought up to the bathroom. By 7:00 am the Monday - Krista informed us that she put on the generator however, the generator can only power the water pump and the water was very cold. We were supposed to check out at 1:00pm on Monday but we checked out at 8:00am because there was no point staying. I was very disappointed to know that for a place that's marketing themselves so great - there wasn't a generator. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I will advise anyone to shop around and ensure that you get value for the money. Their prices are exorbitant and the amenities do not qualify for the prices. Before we left and I returned upstairs to check the room, I had an encounter where one of the lights flickered on and off, on and off, came on and then went out. I enquired from my husband how can that be when there was no electricity - Paranormal? You decide. But we would never return there. Overall the food was ok but again the price per couple per night is not justified.…

This resort boasts a highly professional staff. I was met upon arrival in the car park and assisted with my luggage. I was greeted by staff with a welcome drink and given a tour of the scented halls. The staff pays attention to detail. Meals were catered based on my gastronomical fancies. They had the best juices! I was also given a slice of birthday cake with my dinner :). The food was delicious. I stayed in the Lavender Suite with was luxuriously decorated. I loved the tasteful play on soft drapery and wooden furniture. The bed was so pretty and comfortable. I also enjoyed lathering the creamy coconut soap they provided in the bathroom. The sea view from the balcony is lovely. The spa service was dreamy and the ambiance was zen. The individual pool time per room system was a great idea. My only challenge was the absence of WIFI as they said they are doing some upgrades. I'll be sure to visit again in the future.…

Initially, there was a bit of a challenge making contact by landline. First response was via email then communication flowed smoothly through WhatsApp. Totally worth the drive. The view is breathtaking. Staff meets you at the vehicle and takes your temperature and bags. Welcoming reception drink awaits you. Room clean and well kept. Food is plentiful and delicious. Professional and courteous staff caters for your every need. I had some issues that impeded my trip but Krysta was in constant communication, going above and beyond to ensure that my family and I would have the best experience at Anise. Krysta, Margaret and others are on top of their game. Most importantly there is continuous sanitization of surfaces throughout your stay. Scheduling of pool hours to ensure social distancing. Best place to visit during a pandemic.…

I recently spent a night at the Anise hotel after making a last minute booking for some R and R. On arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Margaret who ensured that my special medical needs were catered to. My (Nutmeg) room was cosy and comfortable, in addition to having a subtle spa scent that welcomed me on my entrances, The food was as others had stated...quite delicious. I also appreciated the professional manner of Krista who was able to make much needed recommendations when asked during my booking. One minor issue was handled quickly and followed up in a professional manner. My only complaint was that my time was too short, Wendy

My wife suggested that we visit Anise Resort in Sans Souci for our valentine's getaway. Truthfully, I had never heard of the resort and must admit I was a bit skeptical. Nevertheless, I agreed to the idea, figuring we would always make the best of any situation. Well, on arrival I was pleasantly and delightfully surprised! Firstly, major kudos to Krista and her team. They made us feel right at home from the start. Our suite, the Bay Suite, was cozy and provided the right amount of seclusion so we felt as if we had our own little space. It has commanding views of the ocean and is a stone's throw away from it so you can go for walks on the beach. Secondly, Margaret, Wendy-Ann, and Antoinette are an absolute delight. Margaret's rum punch concoction is a must-have (note after 4 servings you will be happily tipsy). Thirdly, the food was on point for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Anise is a hidden gem that is worth the drive to visit. We'll definitely be back!…

So my family and I needed a getaway from all the COVID restrictions in June 2020 and I decided to surprise them with a stay at Anise Resort and Spa. I didn't realize that I would be surprised as well. The venue is well maintained and the staff and management very inviting, friendly customer service oriented. They made efforts to ensure a most welcoming stay making us feel like we were totally welcomed. Food variations were excellent and tasted absolutely delicious. All our family felt safe with full COVID protocols being observed with several sanitizing stations located throughout the resort, social distancing and all everyone wearing face masks. Did I mention the view ..... spectacular! I totally enjoyed relaxing with my drinks and taking in the lovely music, view and serenity that the resort offers. It was a welcomed turning down of the tense feelings associated with COVID. I wish I could have provided a first hand review for the spa services but my wife got to enjoy that on her own as I watched the children! She had a full session done and said it was absolutely amazing ...... even mentioning she fell asleep several times and "snored" the people place up! Our family were accustomed to travelling for our family vacations and it was a really welcoming surprise that we were able to find Anise that offered a comparable experience to all our travels. To Anise Resort and team, hats off to you guys ...... keep up the great service! P.S. everyone was upset to go home when we left.…

I visited Anise last year December for the first time and was very impressed by their professional but friendly staff, the level of comfort, delicious food and amazing spa services. Initially set out for two massages ended up adding facials and a hot stone massage as well. This year my friend brought along her elderly mother, for a three night stay. She has particular dietary needs and a request was made to walk with her particular items. The request was granted with an enquiry as to what are some of the needs, to my surprise I received a call informing me that the specific brand of cereal, milk, fruits etc were purchased. That blew me away as I have never experienced a hotel/ resort go out of their way like that to cater for their guests to ensure absolute comfort. I will recommend here 100 times over to anyone I know looking for pure relaxation, serene views and personalized service. As before the staff was courteous and professional, COVID protocols enforced, delicious local food. Simply amazing experience that I plan on enjoying annually. Trinidad has a lot of hidden gems and I am so pleased to have found this one. …
