Our stay here coincided with a French public holiday, we were aware of this before travelling. However, our hosts went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable before leaving us to enjoy a few drinks in the beautiful courtyard while they attended a family party. Anyone wishing to visit here should be aware that, first and...

The entrance to the Ferme la Sensee is through an imposing gated arch into a lovely large courtyard. There is a sense of peace and tranquility within the walls and the hostess, Fanny, is warm, friendly and speaks good English. The Ferme is a busy place, not only do they do B&B, they rear and train show horses, and hire...

We stayed at this lovely B&B with our family (5 adults and 5 children ) for 4 nights. The gracious and generous hosts most certainly made this a fantastic experience with the best continental breakfast in Northern France! The location is just right for Australians visiting Western Front sites. I cannot thank Fanny and Gerard enough Dean & Libby Clarke...

Under 2 hours drive from Calais, we walked into a rustic courtyard at what was the end of a wedding party, with banners up and lots of fun french games on the lawn - we were invited to wait as we couldn't locate the hosts immediately, and so sat watching the fun for a little while, then a lovely woman...

Visited here with 2 family members recently and we all agreed we would visit again. The B&B was very quiet and relaxed located in the French countryside. You can totally chill out here as there is a slow paced atmosphere, with the friendly dog cherise wandering about. The room we had was very spacious and clean. One of bonuses was...

Stayed here for one night on the way home - big mistake! Cannot understand why people leave positive feedback for this place. Never before have seen such a mess: after going through a door which looked like the entrance have been greeted by two barking dogs: without initially seeing the dogs felt pretty worried as there was no sign of...

On our way down to Spain we looked for an overnight stay that was about an hour or so from the Channel crossing. I missed the turning from the mototway, but the sat-nav picked us an alternative route - pleased we were in thr Land Cruiser as our route was at one point along a dirt track - still we...

The room we had was lovely but it did smell of animals and as we are not animal people, we found this off putting, also dogs in the breakfast room is a big no. Breakfast is very good. Good for a one night stop.

A lovely quiet place for a stopover. Helpful hosts who managed to understand our pigeon French !! Large, clean room ( we had a loft suite for us and our 3 children and it was plenty big enough ) Good breakfast and we enjoyed the recommended restaurant ( bistros de Boucher ) in the nearby town. We would stay again...
