Detailed Reviews
My wife, a friend and I all stayed at Norsemen Inn for one night. We got in after 10:30pm and had a quick and friendly check in. After settling into our room we went to the attached bar for some drinks. It was a Monday so pretty quiet. Lovely decor, pool table, VLTs, and a dance floor. Looked like it would be a lot of fun on a weekend.
Bedtime! The room itself was clean, bed was comfortable, good wifi. We all got a great sleep.
Breakfast in the cafe the next morning was delicious. The special included choice of meat plus eggs, hash browns, toast, and coffee or tea for $9.00! Perfect start to our day.
I’d stay here again.

Terry was on the desk when we arrived and was so helpful in answering any questions. The food in Hagars Restaurant was good and reasonably priced. They have a morning and lunch buffet which we did not use as we were looking for supper fare. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite large. Appreciated how clean it was. TV was regular fare, nothing special. The heater/air conditioner was mounted in the window so it was darker in the room than we would have liked. We would book again if the opportunity rises. Priced very reasonable.

Huge shout out to the management and all staff of the Norseman Inn for making a wonderful wedding for pulling off our daughters wedding in a short two weeks! Casino hotel had a flood and we needed 43 rooms and banquet area in just 2 weeks! The managers came to our rescue with smiles and open arms to make the event as stress-free and wonderful as possible! The hotel is extremely friendly, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff! The food was simply amazing! Everyone was impressed with the rehearsal dinner , the wedding banquet and late lunch! The hotel has a wonderful café as well. I can not say enough good things about the staff. The hotel is dated, but extremely tasteful and clean. The event was beautiful and relaxed from the moment we contacted the hotel...God works in mysterious ways and I think we were meant to be at the Norseman! Thank you to you all! Highly recommend for your next venue, they know how to run a stress free event!

We went for 3 weeks in a row, stayed at the norseman every time. Had a lot of stuff and luggage so required a luggage cart. On all visits either checking in or out there was no luggage cart. Hence it took about 30 - 40 minutes to check out or in. They only have one luggage cart. The first time i asked where the cart was to check in and they had someone go up and down the halls, no luck. Eventually someone got some sort of flat kitchen cart. Still took us 35 minutes to check in. Same thing every time we check in or out. Asked for a early check in once, the morning check in girl, said she knew nothing about it, even though we spoke to someone at the front desk, yesterday. To her credit we went for breakfast and she checked us in, but why did she have to be put into that position. Checked in, room not ready, will call you as soon as the room is ready, ok, never heard a word. I brought this to the attention of the night manager, never saw anything happening. Upon checking out for the last time i brought it up with the manager on duty, told me they had several carts and was unaware of the problem. Never saw more than one and that was missing most of the time. Do not know how much a luggage cart costs, but i think with 75 rooms one, is certainly not enough. Another customer brought up the same problem when I was talking to them.

I stayed at the Norseman March 25-28 2022 while I attended a local dog show. When I left Sunday morning I forgot a sheet on the bed . The sheet was a Christmas gift and it was one of a kind from an American National Specialty .
I noticed today, Thursday March 31 and called the hotel right away . After being put on hold to check the desk clerk came back on to say no they did not have it . I said are you sure? I know I left it there . Maybe someone took it home ? She went off the phone again and came back to say , I talked to housekeeping and they didn’t find it and they just cleaned the room yesterday . I said you just cleaned the room yesterday when I left 4 days ago?? She was quick to rush me off the phone saying yes that’s right we didn’t get to it until yesterday ??? Really ??
Isn’t it sad when people have to lie over a sheet . If they threw it out just tell me . I believe the housekeeping stole it , what am I left to think ?? I’m very disappointed 😢

This pillar of Camrose continues to delight. Our room had a whirlpool we maximized our use of. Food in the dining room is excellent and the Norseman is a great place to entertain friends and colleagues. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This was a major curling event weekend in Camrose. Every hotel was booked. In spite of how busy it was the service was outstanding. Quick check in. Room was ready on time. All the in room services worked. The room was on the 48th floor and very quiet. It was disabled accessible and the setup in the bathroom was great. My partner has mobility issues due to knee and hip trouble but was easily able to get in and out of tub/shower combination. The hotel accepts pets, we had our dog with us. There was ample parking and no additional charge. Oh, and the room rates were great. The hotel is older but well maintained. We look forward to staying there again when in Camrose.

The staff was outstanding. Amanda at the front desk was extremely personable and helped me print our boarding passes.
Banquet services were very sweet. Food was fresh and healthy. Alberta beef and fresh vegetables. The banquet facility was a good size.
Our room was simple. Just what we needed for one night.

Decent rooms, very clean, but hotel was noisy as it was to full capacity and it had various groups there. We were there for a basketball tournament so for 1 night it was just fine. Beds were decent and temperature control was easy to operate. Not happy that they do not offer a continental breakfast but I do understand that not all hotels to that. It is close to many restaurants.
