What an amazing way to visit Tuscany. We were so impressed with everything about this place. Miko and his parents are amazing host and went out of their way to make sure we had a great visit. From breakfast they prepared in the morning to recommendations on places to visit to coordinating dinner reservations for us every night and recommending some of the best vineyards in the area. The villa is impeccably clean and has everything you need and if you can’t find it just ask, I’m sure they will get it. The views and peacefulness of the property give you no choice but to relax. Miko, thanks for making our trip amazing if you are ever in Florida let us know!!

Thankfully, my partner and I had the good fortune of discovering Casa Portagioia through second hand word of mouth. We would go so far as to say it was perhaps the most most idyllic, pleasing and memorable destinations we’ve ever visited. From the moment you arrive along the casa driveway extended with cypress trees (solidifying your Tuscan location) to the spectacular sunset colors and surrounding landscape, this vacation destination is magical. Our B&B apartment was immaculate, spacious and opened up in all directions to the stunning Tuscan countryside. Nico and his family could not have done more to attend to our every need and thoughtfully helped guide us through our days in Tuscany with what we hoped to see. We truly look forward to returning. Mark & Jowza.

We have just returned home after spending 13 fantastic nights at Casa Portagioia. We don't feel the need to repeat all the previous wonderful comments on the casa itself, the location, the views, the most beautiful swimming pool , breakfast on the terrace, the suggestions of places to visit, as they are all 100% true. What you see & what you read is exactly what you get. ... Miko, Lechu and Regina thank you all for looking after us during our stay, you were the perfect hosts and provided us with fantastic service throughout our stay. You helped us with absolutely everything we asked of you so quickly and super efficiently too.....Miko even assisted our daughter with printing and scanning paperwork for her new job application (and her train ticket). We could go on and on and on but there is no need. Just go ahead and book this special place in the Tuscan Hills.

My family and I have just spent a whole week at the hidden paradise of “Casa Portagioia”. And our stay there has been one of the most pleasant experiences ever. From the moment we arrived we were enchanted. The setting is just delightful, so peaceful and restful. Surrounded with breathtaking views overlooking the valley filled with vineyards, olive trees and unbelievable bunches of lavanda flowers. Our Funghinni suite was bright, clean and comfortable. We slept with our windows open to let fresh air come in and when we woke up singing birds were the only sound we could hear. Daily breakfast was a highlight! We couldn’t wait to sit in the lovely terrace, where the view could not be beaten and a discreet and charming music accompanied us along with delicious “pain aux chocolat” and eggs. Every afternoon after a day visiting one or two of the many beautiful towns around, we couldn’t wait to get back to the nicest and freshest swimming pool and just soak in all the scenery and sounds of nature. Miko and his parents couldn’t have been better hosts. They were so attentive and helpful in every way. Every request from us was kindly and quickly addressed. And several times they surprised us with small presents that filled us with joy. We even had a problem with our car and with no hesitation they went out of their way to fix it, which we appreciated enormously. We really didn’t want to leave. One week was not close to enough for us. We would have loved to stay there ... forever.
