From the moment we arrived we were smitten with this fabulous place. John and Christine could not be more accommodating. It was like staying in their home as part of their family. The breakfasts were wonderful and you can lose yourself in the wonderful grounds . We stayed away from al the tourist places and used John's maps to plan... More

We had a wonderful warm three days staying in the B&B. John and Christine are very friendly and passionate about their large and beautiful house and extensive gardens which they have lovingly restored - at 15 acres it is a lifetime's work with many exotic plants in the microclimate of the valley. The house has enormous bedrooms and a library/billiard... More

My wife and I have just returned from a four night B&B stay - John and Christine were the most perfect hosts, the house is amazing, the grounds just go on and on and the location in a quiet village with the convenience of a local pub for a sociable evening with the locals was perfect. In short Northcourt is... More

A wonderful place to stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and full of history. John and Christine are warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and full of character. The children fed the chickens and adored Barney the dog. John gave the children a DUNGEON key and a torch on the second day and let them explore the servants quarters!!... More

Northcourt was the perfect place for our family of 9 adults and 5 children. It is spacious, really well equipped with beautiful old furniture that is in keeping with the age of the house. Beds were comfortable and most en-suite. We had so much fun playing games in the paddock and 'sardines' in the house. A great place to stay!

We were guests of friends who rented the whole property for a celebration for approx 30 people in June . The accomodation is split into 3 connecting areas . We were in the smaller property with a delightful, well stocked walled garden . The rooms were all of a good standard and large , many had en suite bathrooms, and if... More

My husband and his friend decided to hire a house for 3 days to celebrate their 60th birthday. They wanted a place big enough to sleep 35 people and have comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms. We found this place on line and booked straight away as a lot of us had fond memories of taking our kids to the beautiful... More

Simply beautiful - so quiet and peaceful. John and Christine are lovely hosts, gentle and attentive, helpful but never intrusive. It felt like a privilege to stay in this family home which has been lovingly put together over the years. We had a spacious bedroom and wonderfully comfortable bed with quality linen. But the star of the show has to... More

We stayed at NorthCourt Manor as a large family group to celebrate a significant birthday. the property is vast and imposing, but very comfortable. Some of the decor is a bit run down, but it was still perfectly good. The grounds are wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend for a large family group.

We stayed in the self catering north wing of Northcourt Manor, which had ample room for our three generation family of 10 adults and 5 children. The rooms were all high ceilinged and generously proportioned, and included a comfortable and spacious living room, and a large play room/music room with piano. The bedrooms, most of which were en suite, were... More
