We stayed one night here on our way back to England after a gruelling 6 hr drive on the autobahn from Dortmund A welcome retreat- quite rustic and down to earth but we loved it! Very laid back. Plenty to do for children with lots of facilities. The facilities are shared with the campsite so quite busy. We did hire... More

On night stay. Located on the camping site with lots to do for the children. Swimming pool with big slide provided lots of fun for the children. Various play areas for all age groups. Room large and comfortable. The restaurant on-site provides a good selection of typical French food at reasonable prices. The bar provides a simple menu with a... More

We arrived around 4 pm to find an empty reception. There was a notice on the desk to ring a number for reception, which I did. It rang for a long time and then there was an automated reply in very rapid French that I could not understand at all. At this point two French gentlemen customers arrived and said... More

We were taking a break in the Calais area and wanted somewhere "different" for the night, not in the centre of the city itself. This Logis seemed to fit the bill based on the website and other reviews so we decided to give it a go. Located about 6 miles south of Calais it's easy to find. The hotel is... More

What a find bordering a campsite, great staff who actually changed a complimentary small starter for us when we informed them we were vegetarians. The food was wonderful as was the wine in a lovely setting with a nice atmosphere. Would imagine booking is essential in season. Highly recommended.

Well positioned just south of Channel Tunnel and a new road makes access easier. The public areas are nicely done. The wifi did not work from our room, despite the comments of the unhelpful member of staff. The finish of the room is places is cheap - cheap wardrobe, plastic loo seat etc.

A most attractive old Auberge in a beautiful setting. Everyone is warm and friendly (thank you for looking after us, Janine!), the menu and wine list very interesting and featuring local and regional dishes (deliciously!), quaint rooms which were both clean and warm (also free wi-fi) and with a bed that gave us the best night's sleep for many years... Lovely hotel and restaurant. Great place to stay after crossing channel. Think could even be good for a couple of days cycling or walking. Food in the restaurant was good. We had the mid priced set menu and it was local and high quality

Read reviews of the restaurant if you're thinking of eating as part of your stay. Ideally placed for Calais and nice rooms though. We were a bit surprised to find no reception and to be asked to book breakfast the night before but these were minor. In short, hotel fine, attached restaurant like a bad 70s sitcom
