Excellent location. We arrived at Coron with no booing in advance! We saw this place on Lonely planet guide and just went there immediately and took the rooftop room with a water view! We could see the sunset. It was convening to have the dive club just next door! My sister did shipwreck diving with them while I was sick at home (water perhaps)
Our room cost only 690 Peso for 2 with a fan, old and outdated toilet. This is the cottage style so we could hear the couple next to our room very clearly. We bought the Coron island hopping package with them which includes the pick up and drop off which are convenient. No wifi in room but our room is near Reception enough so we could have the wifi sometimes.
I was in Coron for a few days and after a pretty poor experience with another dive shop decided to give Seadive a go for a 'fundive'. Lynn our guide (instructor) was very safe, knowledgeable, explained the dive briefings clearly & pointed out all the sea life on the coral and wreck dives. Felt at total ease with her in the water at all times. The lunch was super yummy and the beer on the way back was just a plus! Can highly recommend this shop, wish I could have stayed and dived longer!!! Thank you Lynn!! :)
The resort/staff is a not-so-worth-my-money place, except for the Dive instructor Lynn from the dive shop. I have been looking for a dive shop to do open water course and was fortunate to have met Lynn from Seadive resort. Her unique personalized teaching method made my diving experience a very memorable one!
We went on a three unique dives together with other divers, cathedral cave, Baraccuda lake and reef dive at Siete Pecados. I'm a newly certified diver and they made me feel comfortable and confident. I would say this has been my best dive, as the places we went to are all unique to me. Also one of the cheapest in town, but don't be worry they have great nice boats and very safe divemasters. Who are all friendly and accomodating. I will definitely dive with them when I'm back in Coron. I didn't stay with them but i had lunch one time at the restaurant, price is reasonable and food was great. Service is great too. Nice ocean breeze for lunch feels good.
I have stayed at this “resort” a few times and the dive team are very professional and helpful. The location is on the waterfront with good breezes. Room 202 & 205 are infested with biters. I got over 50 on my second night and had to leave. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Zero preventative maintenance. Best value in town if you don’t mind making a blood donation to the local BB!!
Excellent staff, Beatiful dive. Shipwrecks are amazing to see! The day is organized well, with food and drinks, and free endless ocean wind. Recommended to take 3 dives and spend the day out on the boat.
The room we ordered was not available when we arrived. We got a room on the third floor required us to climb lots of stems each time. Balcony lock was broken toilt and sink where clogged. Hot eater occasionally worked with very low pressure. Very bad experience 2 stars because the staff where nice.
Location: It has a waterview which is great. It also has a nice breeze which helps cool the tropical heat. It is located in the center of town but far enough away from the road and all the noise of the city center. The path to the property does pass through houses on stilts and the surrounding water is quite filthy and smells at times. It is very close to where island hopping tours depart from and return. The Rooms: We had deluxe rooms so it was quite spacious and we also had a balcony which was nice. The beds were comfortable with clean sheets. The bathroom facilities need a bit more cleaning and maybe some updating. It would be nice to have daily housekeeping. Service: Wifi was non-existent in the rooms and works occasionally in the dining room. We were able to check-in 1 hour earlier. Their restaurant is not very well stocked. Often, they would run out of certain menu items. When that happens, sometimes they restock the next day, but other items are not...such as beer. How can a restaurant not restock their beer? Would I stay here again? If I really need to save money...maybe, but I think there are nicer hotels in Coron.…
The best place to go diving in Coron. We've been diving most of the wrecks reachable from this place. Planning the dives, preparing optimal nitrox mixes, visiting and penetrating the wrecks all perfectly organised at this place. Highly recommended!
