This was a perfect break ! When we arrive, we didnt imagine to see a this beautiful french colonial house near the Mekong River, the renovation are superb, furniture are matches well with this hotel. The bedroon was over expectation, great and confortable bed, the view was perfect and usually its bit something i notice on any hotel, but the bathroom was a real gems. Whats else should to be said, perfect places for relax, enjoy the experience and we both sure we will be back.
We drove there just to stay a night, our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. The hotel is beautiful. There are so many spaces to enjoy a game, pool, a drink, the pool, the function space. The reception and staff there were fantastic, and I felt obliged to comment on the beautiful smile which was ever present. Food is French quality. Short walk to the local market (go before 11). Just a great place to relax off the tourist trail but about 40 minute drive to Kratie.
We came to this beautiful place right after visiting Sen Monorom (which was nearly a 6 hours drive via bus). Suffice to say we were very happy that we made the long trip as the hotel blew us away. The architecture was magnificent and the staffs were smiling and attentive. Dinner and breakfast was good. Our room was absolutely gorgeous (we were eyeing the Mekong Suite but unfortunately it was already booked). We were here only a short time so we weren’t able to fully experience Chhlong but staying here was definitely our highlight. Thank you to the staff for arranging the flowers and drawing us a bath! Hope to visit again someday!
Run by a dedicated young team who are putting a huge effort to bring this amazing place back to its glittering former life. The hotel is a converted French manor resurrected from years of neglect. We felt transported to another time while we were enjoying a peaceful and relaxing time in this very well appointed hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It was a real pleasure to spend time here.
on the way between Kratie and Kampong Cham, Le Relais de Chhlong is an upperclass hotel housed in a colonial French palace, a bit run down, but still a nice visit, especially for the garden around. friendly staff, welcoming, and quiet.
