We stayed at Skye Shepherd Huts for five nights and had the most wonderful time. Although the weather was changeable, the hut was brilliant - a log burner for colder nights and outside space for warmer mornings. The hut is so cosy and relaxing, and I couldn't think of a better place to stay on the island. Janet is a...

We were really looking forward to visiting the Skye Shepherd Huts, we love Skye and we love staying in quirky accommodation. We were not disappointed at all with the huts, they are so cosy and spacious. We were walking munros whilst in Skye and there was plenty of room for all our walking kit and casual gear. Janet has thought...

The Skye Shepherd Huts were by far my favorite place during my trip. Janet is a wonderful and accommodating host and there are so many beautiful things to explore. The huts are well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. I cannot wait to come back!!

Had an amazing time at Skye Shepherd Huts over the weekend. The hut is really nice and homely. We really enjoyed our time there even though most of Skye was closed! Season starts in April. Janet brings breakfast over every morning and the croissants are still warm, the attention to detail is superb. Thank you Janet for your attention to...

We booked this as it was recommended by some friends- and what a treat it was to stay here! Surrounded by beautiful views, donkeys, chickens and dogs, and with a friendly host- the shepherd huts are all you need for a relaxing break away from it all. The one thing that impressed us most was how lovely the quality of...

Situated in the most beautiful location, we stayed in a gorgeous shepherd hut with everything you could need or want and more. It had a little hobbit stove which added to the ambiance and kept us so cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. In the morning breakfast was hand delivered by our fabulous host Janet...

Everything was perfect. Our hut "Bothan Buidheag" was a sensory delight. Janet's use of space is inspirational as are the views, her donkeys, "Gilbert and George", and the breakfasts that Janet delivers to the door each morning (porridge with whisky is a must!!) We have never had such a holiday experience and cannot wait to return.

We stayed for two nights during our honeymoon trip to Scotland and we had such a fantastic time. Janet couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and the time and effort she puts into making the breakfast hampers, which were some of the best breakfasts we had on our holiday was amazing. The location is stunning and very remote which...

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights in October, we were a bit cautious about how the weather would be, but we were very lucky! Our hut was the perfect size for the 2 of us, it was lovely and cosy and allowed you to enjoy the best of both worlds - the "back to basics" of camping,...
