We camped 1 night as a sleepover in Gabus Ranch Farm. This is a very quiet place surrounded by mountains. They have an own wildpark as well. We chose one of the 2 camp sites on the property. You have a private bathroom with toilet. The main building is nicely decorated and there is a honesty bar and the swimming pool where you have free wifi. Our stay was short but we recommend this place.
We visited the place on our way to Etosha and we didn't have been disapointed. The place is stunning. The pool is surrounded by a Oasis of vegetation and Flowers and overlooking on the waterhole where girafe, oryx and kudu are coming all day long. The restaurant is handsome. The food was delicious : my compagnon loved the meat and, personaly I am vegeterian and they adapted to my diet. The personal was lovely, professional and the owners really friendly. I enjoyed a lot the horse riding on sunset with Heike and I recommand it ! The rooms are huge and clean. One of the best place we stayed during our trip.
We visited Gabus Game Ranch for our first stop of our tour in Namibia. It was fantastic! Very friendly staff, beautiful location with a great swimmingpool and lounging area overlooking the waterhole and the hikes were stunning with lots of game sightings. The campsites are perfect with everything you need. I can highly recommend this place!
We only stayed for one night. It was, unfortunately, also a windy rainy late afternoon that we arrived so we could not really take advantage of the outside area with the waterhole/lake view. No time to really unwind and relax. Nevertheless, from our room we were lucky to see a herd of around 50 elands, ostriches, wilderbeest and steenbok What was definitely the highlight of our stay was the 3 course delicious dinner by Elsie.
we had a wonderfull stay at the Ranch. It is especially relaxing after a long trip in Namibia. The staff is very friendly. I went horseback riding with Heidi one morning and that was a really great experience to see the giraffes up close. The horses are calm and very well trained. The food was excellent. So I can highly recommend a stay if you can at least 2 nights to take a rest and enjoy the environment .
