Staff generally very helpful and room clean. Bar very pricey More so than the 5* Stirling court where we had been two nights ago. However, if you can,t take gluten they just remove it from the dish or say you can,t have it. Nothing is substituted. So no oat cakes with the salmon and no garlic bread with the mussels...

We arrived for a 2 night stay on a voucher deal. A sign said reception so we followed but no sign of a reception area and we had to wander around looking for someone. We were eventually given our key to room 7 that as requested had been set up as a twin. The room was lovely having recently been refurbished...

We stopped for lunch and were very pleased with our fare. Good craft beer our food was very good. £37 for the two of us with no starter and two drinks so just a little expensive but all very good. Excellent sopt for a stop over before heading on to Glenshee Ski Area and driving on to Balmoral.

The hotel is well situated at start of the road up to Glenshee. Good parking and a nice beer garden. rooms are good, clean and have all the basics. Dinner was OK but pricey. Breakfast was help yourself with overcooked scambled egg and steamed bacon - the only hotel we stayed in without a waitress served cooked breakfast. Overall -...

From start to finish our stay was lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was a basic twin room but had everything we required e,g. tea and...

Stayed overnight with my Mother and my wee dog (who was made very welcome). The view from our lovely room, was outstanding. We were very lucky to have some nice weather. After our lovely walk along the river and onto the Cateran trail, we then had some drinks in the gorgeous outdoor tables overlooking the river. We then had the...

When we arrived the manager explained everything we needed to know about our stay. The evening meal was delicious and there was a good menu to choose from. The breakfasts were...

We stayed in this small hotel over the Bank Holiday weekend as a base to help my Dad compleat his Munro's as a family. The hotel is very nice with excellent sized rooms and wonderful food. The buffet breakfast is small but food and drink replenished well. The bar is a little over priced but allows you to sit back...

This is an attractive if poky little hotel in a lovely setting. The staff are friendly and help when they can. The rooms are generally comfortable* and the food is good. The bar is well stocked if expensive**. We were a family party of 11 (10 adults and one infant) and spent two nights there on a party to climb...
