A nice place to stay. My room was fresh and clean with a very modest place. Showers and toilets were clean. Hot water. The restaurant was very good. Full bar. Staff were tremendous. Early morning coffee was delightful. I will stay here again every time I ride the Red Centre. A lovely place.
We stopped here on our way to Uluru from Alice Springs. There is nothing much in this area so it’s a good place to stock up on fuel, food and drinks. They do have a shop where you can purchase souvenirs as well.
Stayed here for a night and set up a tent in their free camping area. They had a cockatoo, lorikeet, 2 snakes, emus and a cammel too see as well as the largest collection of Smurf memorabilia I've seen. Pool table, tele's, dart board and a pool. The road houses before and after weren't as good in my opinion. The food was well priced and heaps on a plate. Can't say what the accom was like as we camped. Would recommend here especially in comparison to Curtain Springs down the road.
We only stopped here for morning coffee and was glad it was here to do so. Can not speak of overnight accommodation but everything here appears as though a bit of upkeep would be welcome. The shop and dining areas are of interest with all sorts of Knick-knacks about the place. Coffee was OK and welcome without being great.
Stayed couple of days ago , Very run down , had to share toilets and showers with bye passers paid money to stay trying to get ready and do my hair with a bus load of rude ppl reaching over me and my toilet bag with no where to put my toilet bag Bit of a joke isn’t it. Amenities very run down one tap un usable and the floors very beyond it n shower curtains filthy. Food was ok nothing flash but tasty. I also had to kindly ask if the pool could be cleaned so I could at least kool off and have a swim . I am not one to love having a winge but ppl if u are charging top dollar well travelers do expect good facilities after a day on the road at least .
