Beautiful nature, a great place to relax!
Our fascinating family trip aroun Montenegro on a motorhome with rafting "Modra Reka". Special thanks to the friendly woman Mila, who was a very hospitable hostess. She fed delicious local food and talked about local nature and rafting. The next morning we were fed breakfast and drove in jeeps to the mountains for rafting. It was very exciting !!! We have not had such rest yet. We advise everyone to rafting the Modra River !!!

We were very well welcomed here. Such a beautiful and clean place. We could park our van for two nights and eat at the restaurant which serves amazing delicious and comfy food. Rafting is nicely organized. Žarco is the man of the situation! Lovely guy to meet 😁 thank you everyone! We will be back!

The Modra Rijeka (Blue River) rafting camp it situated right on the border with Bosnia & Hercegovina, beside the river Piva (which you can look at while enjoying a drink on the verandah). Its principal raison d'etre is as a base for rafting, which takes place on the river Tara, finishing on the border, just before the confluence of the two rivers.
The camp itself consists of the main house, with restaurant and bar, two large chalets with 6 rooms each and a number of tiny 2-person huts, all in wood and in very good condition. The rooms are spacious enough and very clean, as was the shared bathroom (though we did have a problem with some inconsiderate co-guests). meals are served in the restaurant or in the outdoor verandah and are hearty and well prepared. The lamb "izpod sača" that we had was exquisite. However the emphasis is on quantity and wholesomeness - no haute cuisine here.
There is plenty of space around the camp (we saw some tents set up in the field) and the whole place is a corner of tranquility.
The staff were efficient: one in particular spoke English and was thus rushed off her feet, but most did not speak English. However, with a bit of goodwill this is not a problem, and expecting people all over the world to speak English is plain wrong, in my opinion.

I've been staying two nights in the Modra Rijeka Rafting Camp and have to say I have been extremely surprised by how kind and welcoming the owners (Milla and Todor) and staff (Mladen...) are. I just showed up one night looking for a place where to spend the night and immediately fell in love with this camp. It is located right next to the Piva river which sound make you feel the power of the mountain and ensure you'll spend a night as peaceful as restful. This will give you the power to enjoy the numerous activities they offer including obviously rafting but also canyoning, horse riding or hiking. You'll then have the honor to try there organic food and be sure to try local rakia too!
Highly recommended.

This is a quieter time of year for the rapids but Nicola was our guide and still made it a fantastic experience from letting us swim (float whilst trying to get used to the freezing water) to stopping at a waterfall for photos, he was brilliant and chatty. The food was great for £8 euros couldn't ask for more👍

We spent a night here after a rafting trip and we weren't disappointed. We received a very warm welcome and our wooden hut, although small was a fantastic experience. There were great views of both the mountains and the river piva. We had a traditional Montenegrin breakfast which was great, particularly the cherry jam! Would certainly recommend!

We had a really nice day. Friendly staff, good food and beautiful views!
They offered us a second plate when we finished our first one, and they were very understanding when we had a mishap with our payment. Would definitely stay again.

Food and rafting was amazing. However, our cottage and room/bathroom were not clean at all with a lot of dust. We stayed for two nights, but if you want to join the camp we advice to book only for one night.

It is sold as a nature rafting camp. When we arrived some locals arrived and has partied around the cabins all night long. The noise ended around 3:30 am. The beds were terrible. There was too much water on the river so we did some rafting at another river. Let say, 2 x 15 minutes on a calm river with a 30 minute stop. It could be that we had bad luck, i don't know.
