Camp Grab is the best place to take your family or group white water rafting! The family run resort has accomodations that are rustic and quaint, most importantly clean and functional. Nice touches include an electric kettle so you can make a cup of coffee in the morning to sit on the porch and enjoy the view and a refrigerator in your room. The hospitality is amazing, our friends were even permitted to bring their dog. The food is traditional Montenegrin fare, served family style on a deck overlooking the river. Our group of 25 adults and children enjoyed the large meadow to play games and even pitched a tent for the boys to sleep out! The white water rafting guides were safety conscious but lots of fun. We laughed the entire time we weren't breathless from the amazing scenery and adreline filled rapids. It is a little off the beaten path, but isn't that what you want? Definitely an authentic Montenegrin experience!…
Having read the glowing reviews for camp grab I think our expectations were quite high. We had a great time as the natural beauty of the location is breath taking. However some criticism of the resort. Our room had zero privacy. You could here everything from the adjoining rooms. The curtains did not meet so we fashioned one from a blanket which then meant the room was very dark. The sheets and linen were thick crinkled brocade very uncomfortable. The food was hearty and filling but no explanation was given as to what it was. Meal times are quite late and inflexible. We went the first week of September and you got the feeling the manager was away and the staff were just enjoying themselves. You felt as though you were interrupting them. The drive to the camp is insane if coming from Tivat. Be prepared for shingle and not proper roads for at least an hour. We were disappointed there weren’t really any walks to do in the surrounding area. White water rafting was fantastic. It is on the whole very good value for money we just expected more. That said we had a great time just be prepared it is not quite as described.…
We stayed at the House Selo for three nights. The house can be rented through Air B&B, but you have to pick up the key at Camp Grab and you can use the facilities as well. We immidiately felt welcome. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We booked a massage in nature, a rafting trip and a hike. All three were just perfect and a lot of fun. Professional and very friendly crew. The environment is beautiful, right next to the Tara river. Perfect place to relax in nature. We recommand this place without a doubt! It is possible to pay with visa. WiFi is free and good.
Montenegro is so beautiful and the Tara river canyon is just stunning, but what really makes this camp extra special is the amazing team running it, they make so many incredible activities possible every day, they are super professional, fun, happy to help and our family holiday was a great success, highly recommended ❤
We stayed two nights at Camp Grab in May. On one day we did the 7km rafting trip. If I had it to do over again I would probably only stay one night - or just come here for rafting and carry on or try another accommodation. We liked the staff and found the rafting guides to be very good and the rafting was good bang for your buck- with the river levels we had about 15 rapids in about 90 minutes. The wetsuits and gear was good quality as well. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in in a long time. No support from the base and my partner and I sunk into the middle. We mentioned it to the staff and she was receptive to our feedback. Food was good, but not as amazing as other reviews stated. We were catered to as vegetarians. Food was plentiful- but quite carb heavy- a bit of fruit at breakfast would have been nice. The timing for meals may catch some people out (8am, 1400, 2100) It would be nice if there was a bit of hiking or something nearby - we were told to walk on the road if we wanted to hike but we found an overgrown trail. The check in, information and communication leading up to our stay was all really good. Hope this helps you to make your choice if Camp Grab is right for you. …
