We stayed one night en route in July. We had a lovely suite " The Tower" . Breakfast was one of best we have had. Although there was a wedding that day we had a lovely stay. We will return to explore the area. Very much an adult hotel. However they catered for children at the wedding

For my 21st birthday we celebrated by having afternoon tea here with 15 of my family. Overall, we had an enjoyable afternoon. The grounds are stunning and the house itself you cannot fault. However, the you expect the service to match the price you pay. When organising the day the staff made it very clear that they would welcome any... More

We had our wedding at Pittodire house hotel on the 25th June, and I actual can't find words to thank the staff enough for making our day one to remember. Emma and Brian are two in a million. I will start with the venue, if your looking for somewhere Romantic, exclusive and picturesque this is your place. The grounds are... More

We stayed over for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were lucky enough for the hotel to offer us a fantastic deal for dinner bed and breakfast. We were given the tower suite which having looked at most of the rooms before is the best room in the hotel. The suite was huge and gave some fantastic... More

As we were attending a funeral of a very good friend in Montrose we needed a hotel for 2 nights which would accommodate a small dog. We found this hotel and although it was a bit pricey it was luxurious with very friendly staff. The food was very pricey but was delicious (what we could afford) the double room was... More

I came here with family to celebrate a wedding. The bridal party stayed the night before in a family room. We had a warm welcome from the hotel and was directed to our room. The family room was lovely and spacious. The only negative was that our sofa bed for two of our guests was already broken at the bottom.... More

Myself and my brothers were on our way to our uncles funeral and just wanted a nice place to relax the night before (some of the team stayed for more nights), we arrived very late due to easyJet delaying our flights to Edinburgh, but even at midnight we got a very warm welcome from the night Porter and even managed... We were hoping for a country hotel with a warm welcome and excellent service however we were sorely disappointed. From Reception staff to restaurant service this was far from excellent. Arriving with my daughter and despite requesting a twin room we were given a double bed and we were made to feel we were inconveniencing the staff with our request... More

Could not find fault with this property and were upgraded to a suite as members. The food and service were excellent and the staff were polite and friendly. The view from the Keith suite was stunning despite the mist and the room was huge and extremely comfortable.

A truly excellent hotel and experience. High quality food, kind and helpful staff, lovely rooms including a relaxing and well-furnished drawing-room with cheerful fire, beautiful and extensive grounds, plus panoramic views of the nearby Bennachie mountain and craggy Mither Tap accessible by footpath from the hotel. Highly recommended.
