Wonderful hotel! The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is large and comfortable. Air conditioning, ceiling fan, you can vary it as you wish. The bed is large, comfortable, four pillows. Every day cleaning, change of towels. There are only a few rooms, so it feels like home. You feel very free. Large lobby, swimming pool. There is a huge table in front of the bar where you can work with a laptop. The staff is very attentive. While you are lying on a sun lounger, they will take your key and clean everything in your room. In the evening the bed will be covered with a mosquito net. Large balcony on the second floors, large terraces below. Lovely pool. Cleaned and sanitized every day. Clean once a week with a special vacuum cleaner. Breakfasts are hearty. Dinners are tasty, without unnecessary spice. Respect to the cook! They served us with tablecloths and flowers. Very nice. The beach strip is long, there is room to walk around. If the waves are big, you can go to a nearby beach. No TV, music or anything else that disturbs the peace.

Perfect location, right on the beach. Airy, clean, villas. Bedroom and bathroom spacious and clean and airy with big balcony overlooking the ocean. Great food, great service, all the staff make you feel like you are in your home. Great, clean, big enough pool. Amazing breakfast served anytime in the am you want. Little things that made such a difference- free water jugs placed in different locations of the hotel. It’s a quiet beach of 1km length.

We had a lovely four days in a room overlooking the beach in this beautiful location. Our room was very clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable with mosquito nets around the bed. At night, you could hear the waves, which was very relaxing. We had a nice balcony with a table and chairs outside too. Our bathroom had a shower and two sinks, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Breakfast was good with natural yoghurt and honey, fresh fruit and eggs, bacon, etc. The staff were amazing and very kind. Laleith, our butler made our stay extra special. We sat outside and watched the sun go down over the sea every night too. Some practical informations: The Villas provided beach towels; the beach was lovely, but the sea was rough and is known for riptides, so we went to the right of the beach through a path (beach shoes would have been handy) to the next beach and stayed on the inside of where a rock shelf is; the staff organised for a lady to come in to give us a massage, which was good; we ate lunch or dinner there quite a bit, but did go out for dinner and the staff organised a safe tuck tuck there and the hotel we went to once back. Location: we found the Villas to be well located to do plenty of days out. Galle with the old Dutch Fort was just under an hour away and worth a walk around, cocktails in the hotel and lunch or dinner there would be good. On the way, we visited turtles, Maduganga Lake with Cinnamon Island seeing how it is handled, moon stone mines, etc. We could have done more in this area, but enjoyed our beach day with the locals on the Sunday. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend Sir Villas.

I have just spent 5 days at Sri Villas, and I feel totally recharged. This was down to the overall ambience of the place and its location. The decor is understated, with tasteful elegance, in large white open spaces, that flow from the beach through the property, providing a feeling of serenity. No harsh shiny glass angles here! The food was outstanding. I had a different breakfast every day, each one freshly prepared and equally delicious. The staff were genuinely friendly, smiley, and helpful. As for the beach, they don't get any better than this. Morning walks along a pristine beach with not one sunlounger, towel, or straw parasol in sight. Just coconut palms, rock pools, and the beautiful sound of crashing waves - at one with nature:).

What a fabulous and relaxing stay at the Sri Villas. Rooms are well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Outside each villa has its own open air living space, dining area and dedicated host. A long shared pool looks out to the beach and sea beyond. The beach is approximately 1.5km long and beautiful for a morning or evening walk. When we visited you needed to be a confident swimmer due to wave height but the next beach along has a rock fringed swimming area as well as turtle sanctuary.
Food was excellent and we ate in all nights bar one. Sri Lankan breakfasts with tropical fruit, fresh curd, hoppers, curry and sambols were a treat. We highly recommend the crab curry for dinner, superbly cooked and served with home made bread. Meals can be served on your villa veranda or by the beach.
Staff were excellent, friendly and very accommodating, thank you for an exceptional, five star holiday.

Very tastefully decorated hotel. Beautiful beach right next to the hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The hotel is very small and therefore has a family feel. Each guest has a private place to eat. Breakfast can be chosen and is freshly prepared. The rooms are spacious. Everything was very sustainable, no unnecessary plastic packaging or anything like that. The hotel is on a street, so it is not always so quiet.

What a stunning location! The villas are absolutely beautiful and look even more amazing at night. Our group of 13 was lucky enough to have all three villas to ourselves, and we stayed for three nights—wishing we could have stayed longer. The staff here is incredible. They were all so kind and always had a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them. One night, we enjoyed a beachfront BBQ, and they put out an amazing spread. I remember the grilled seafood being some of the best I've ever had! We did venture out for dinner one night, but honestly, we should have had all our meals here because the food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The breakfasts were sooo good—especially the fresh fruit and local pastries. One morning, we took a walk along the beach at sunrise, and it was absolutely magical. The tranquility and beauty of the place made it a perfect start to the day.

We decided to hit Bentota rather than heading back to Colombo, so this was a pretty last minute choice; we couldn’t be happier we made it. Sri Villa would probably be more appropriate than Villas, this was likely once an open and single dwelling that has been converted into guest rooms. For our stay, 2 of the 3 days we were the only guests, and it felt like we had the run of the place. The long pool and bedroom balcony had expansive views of the ocean, the Villa itself sits on the beach,
The staff and in particular Sudesh are welcoming, jovial and attentive. They couldn’t do more for us. The food too, especially Sri Lankan dishes, were exceptional.
We loved staying here. It was relaxed, comfortable and honestly felt like home after just a few days. We’d highly recommend it.

What a Beautiful position on the Beach, which we loved. Our stay was for 4 nights after 2 wks of travelling so was a great place to relax. Pool was divine...and all the staff, Plus (sudech lovely jubbley) were great. Our room had fabulous views of the sea and fantastic sunsets after we had travelled so much. And due to that we were happy to go for their special menu each evening which was OK, however the normal one is not our thing! If you want to eat else where you will need to use transport.

We have recently returned from our weeks’ stay at Sri Villas. We thoroughly enjoyed our break, the food was excellent, the staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The location is ideal for touring and we managed to travel up and down the coast while we were there, hoping to return again soon.
