If you are staying in farndale or walking through then there is literally no other bar / restaurant to visit. The Feversham Arms is dog friendly which is a huge plus and offers traditional pub grub. We ordered mixed grill, steak, Yorkshire pudding and veg and sausage and mash. The standard of food was good and the portion size was...

Just had a lovely lunch here, the food is always spot on with generous portions. My only complaint isI always clear my plate so the diet goes out the window. The Black sheep bitter is a great compliment to the food Rachel the Land Lady is a great host and good fun, you always get a friendly welcome. The bar...

We discovered this place while looking for gluten-free food in the North York Moors. It's a few miles off the main Hutton-le-Hole to Castleton road but is worth the little diversion. There's a wide selection of tasty gluten-free food and the non-gluten free offerings are also good. We stopped in for lunch and had the giant Yorkshire puddings with beef/sausages...

We love Farndale, not just when the Daffodils are in bloom, but all year round, and we often frequent the odd trail around the dale. As we were in Kirkbymoorside, we decided to just pay a quick visit to Farndale, and have lunch at the Feversham Arms. The weather forecast wasn't great, but in reality the forecast snow did hold...

Traveled from York to Farndale which took one hour and 15 minutes to get there, and the last 8 miles was very windy narrow roads, I was please we didn't meet a vehicle coming the other way. Arrived at the pub and in all honesty it didn't look the most welcoming place as the outside needs brightened up a little,...

Had a fab time here, lovely food that were big portions and good value for money. The atmosphere was great, chilled but friendly. We managed a day when the locals had been on a shoot and so it was entertaining.

Had a great stay here on a cold Friday in January. Lovely wood fire in the pub with very friendly local people drinking. Rachel (the landlady) made us very welcome. The room was very nice with a view of Farndale. Lovely breakfast in the restaurant.

I brought my partner here for the first time this weekend, and I so wish we had time to stay for just one night. Everything about the place was positive, I cannot think of anything negative to write. We stayed in the cottage which is right next door to the pub - very clean and tidy, very spacious, and lovely...

A stone's throw away from our winter retreat, the Feversham Arms was a welcome and hospitable place to get warm and mingle with the locals. The food is also excellent and is excellent value for money. My husband and I (and our dogs) were very taken with this establishment and hope to repeat our visit sometime in the future.
