Booked this in a hurry not realizing it was not walking distance to Alona. But when I got there, the ambiance and landscape caught me in awe. The place was beautiful for a reasonably priced room . However, I will lay down the plus and deltas: + beautiful garden and pool + quiet beach + beach perfect for lounging +... More

If you are visiting Bohol, I would suggest that you stay in panglao island. It is a bit far from airport and tagbilaran city but why would you go there. You should try to stay closer to alona beach and this one is a 5 min ride from there. We stayed here because it was a lot cheaper than those... More

Arrived around 10 pm due to delayed ferry after long flight. Pick up from port worked well. On arrival, restaurant was closed and staff was shy to answer several questions, no water bottles in room or to buy in hotel. One room had an empty fridge. So we went very late with trike to Alona Beach. No security on hotel... More

Not along the Alona beach (which for me has the best beach in Panglao). The PTV beach front is not great...no water during low-tide and has lots of seaweeds. We went boating and arrived during low-tide, so we had to walk about a hundred meters through the seaweed to get to the shore. Walking is not an issue for me,... More

Decently resort with cottages in various price ranges. Beautiful room with aircon, flatscreen and fridge for 2,000 Php, with breakfast. Good restaurant; only the operation is very slow. If there are guests at two tables you have to wait for your dinner for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Sad to say, that the bar/restaurant is closed from 9:30 am... More

Me and my friends stayed here last February, and we actually had the escape from the stress we look forward to. The rooms were okay, aircon though needs improvement. I liked the little water basin that they put in front of the door to clean your feet (maybe they assumed that you will go to the beach, which is actually... More

We all know beaches in panglao are great, but excessively expensive. I booked our stay here last week without so much expectation. The past years, I had learned not to set my expectations high, it's either you are willing to pay a huge amount for a hotel with a nice beachfront or still pay a bit of huge amount where... More

If you want a quiet place to stay...Tropical Villas of Panglao is the place to be. Checked-in last February 25 and get awed by the great view the resort could offer. My room is located near the beach front and from there you can a great view of the sunset as well as hearing the sound of the waves..perfect for... More

The good thing with this resort is that it is far from all the tourists. It is peaceful. The beach is not great. Swimming may be possible only if you walk like 500 meters away. The good thing about the resort is that it has its own pool, most probably because the beach isn't nice. There were times during the... More

We stayed at Panglao Tropical Villas for almost two weeks and it was amazing. The place is clean and 99.99% of staff were friendly and very polite. The beach is private, although swimming in the sea is not possible as it is quite dirty (it has a great pool however). The food is good and the value is excellent. With... More
