The hotel is showing many signs of aging and parts of the small island are in decay. However, the hotel restaurant (book in advance!) served great food and waking up with the sea breeze is great. Be sure to get a room in the main building facing east r the corner suite. Recommended stay 2 nights tops. Wifi is terrible...

This is my second time at the Delos hotel, and while the island is beautiful...the hotel is not so much. If you stay on the 'old' building of the hotel you might get a really crappy room depending on your luck (all rooms are different), to be safe just ask for a room on the 'new' building. The food in...

For the past 6 years we have been having a week in Bandol (perfect resort for a great break) & every year it culminates with a last Dinner at the Delos.... The romanticism of having to a take the shuttle boat to a have Dinner on an Island....And every time it's memorable. This year was the best !!! The cooking...

very comfortable bed in a villa, not the actual hotel since it was full for the wedding. Everything was great, the only drawback being that the bathroom was situated in the ground floor whereas the bedroom on the first floor, and this hadn't been said to us. As it happened my fiancee had a broken toe so this caused some...

You reach the hotel by ferryboat from Bandol (every 1/2 hour). We were on an extended trip and carrying lots of luggage but no help was offered at anytime to carry it up to our room. The hotel staff are not particularly helpful nor pleasant. The various failings which we found and politely complained about, were met by a "not...

As others have said, the hotel has many positives but let down by the restaurant service manager. The three of us had paid (18euro each) for the breakfast buffet which included bottles of water. As we headed out for the day we had taken two of the bottles with us from breakfast. On the ferry, the hotel restaurant manager rushed...

Dear customer, Thank you for staying in our hotel, we regret to read your dissatisfaction. We understand your frustration about the incident on the ferry but for your information, the bottle of water (in glass) available on the breakfast buffet are not to take away (not for sale either), we use its as water jugs. Moreover, bottle of water (in...

The island, pool and room were exceptional clean. The bed was very comfortable. Service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately a lot of the facilities weren't open, namely the beach bars and creperie. If you wan't something light to eat in the evening it meant a trip to the mainland. We would have expected everything to be open in June. There...

Coastal feeling without the disadvantages! No traffic jams, escape from the crowds, the noise... Once you arrive at the island everything is relaxed, casual yet classy. The kindness of the staff, the efficiency and the quality of the place is refreshing. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was definitly not enough. As well for my husband and me, as...

Located 5 minutes from the port of Bendol, l'ile de Bandor use to be the place to be and to visit 45 years ago when all the facilities were run by Paul Ricard. Unfortunately now all the facilities are leased to operator and the high standards and exclusivity are gone. It is still a lovely place but the accommodation and...
