The Hotel is situated ina small village in Covasna. The property has a green yard and many places to spend the time. The interior is classic, and decorated accordingly. You have the chance to feel how was many years ago, but with all modern facilities. Traditional breakfast, with many local specialites. Some deserts will be very appreciated if they would add them ( at least for us for the morning coffee. The dinner was very good. The staff is welcoming and very polite. I really liked the place and recomand it. There are many places where bike expeditions can be done.

We had a wonderful experience! The place is awesome, designed in a modern Medieval style. All is very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful! The food at the restaurant is amazing! Especially the millefeuille and the traditional meat dishes. Covasna is a beautiful place to visit! The nature is breathtaking! I recommend this place with all my heart!

History combined with high standards of modern comfort. The castle has been renewed with so much good taste and respect for the historical heritage. They provide comfy beds with fine linen, good cuisine and a special spa experience. It`s a real retreat for body and soul. We had the luck to meet the stork family that has it`s nest on the chimney of the main building. :) This was our second time at the castle and we`ll come back for sure. Highly recommend!

The room was very nice decorated, the bed was comfy. The original spa in the cellar and the pool were great, the pool water a little cold. They close the spa area at 9.00 p.m., they could let it open later in the evening. The yard is not very big, they were arrangeing it at the time we were there. They can make a play yard, with outside games for children and also for adults. The restaurant was very nice, the food very good and the staff very polite.

We had a wonderful time at the castle. All the employees were very friendly. The breakfast was very good with a lot of local tasty foods. A lot to do and see in the neighborhood. We had a wonderful, pleasant walk through the Vargis keys. We shall visit those nice places again!

Excellent service, food, breakfast and à la carte menu. The location is close to tourist attractions - Kalnoky castle, inactive volcano, basalt columns, smarald lake - all absolutely worth visiting. Spa available. Tours can be organized.

The castle hotel consist actually from the main manor, a spacious yard with a small park in it and a previous servants house with a cellar transformed in a spa. We didn't actually stay there, just went to eat and visited all the buildings including the spa. It successfully combines modern facilities with traditional ones. The restaurant is excellent and presents original Transylvanian recipes. The main castle building also has some medieval paintings that were discovered during the restoration works that took place some years ago.

Bad, bad experience Waking up to a construction facility next to your window is not really what you would expect for your holiday. And there are constructions where the owners and doing everything to make sure the guests are not disturbed and the other ones where the owners really don’t care. See in the pictures where we are here.

The castle is located in a quiet village in Covasna County. It is a very quiet area with the possibility to escape into the nearby forests (Varghis) or take a bike ride in the hills nearby. The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi are a plus for the hotel. Although they use quality products, we recommend diversifying the menu.
