Yes fabulous lodge. Fabulous because of the view, fabulous because of the room with plunge pool and outdoor shower, fabulous because of the cleanness, a fabulous entrance, a fabulous pool. Fabulous food and drinks. Yes the best we’ve had. But most of all is the fabulous hospitality. Thank you fabulous Manyara’s Secret. We had a fabulous time.

Following a phone call and some email correspondence, we booked directly with this lodge. They arranged our transfer from and to the airport. The staff are great, as are the villa's. It is nice to have these amazing views and hear/see monkeys around you (don't worry they are afraid of people). The food was great at the lodge. Breakfast was always too much (but unfortunatey they were out of yoghurt). The dinner also offered a great selection of options and my wife could get gluten free options. It was nice to see the open kitchen and see the staff preparing the dishes. My only suggestion would be to give guests a little more soup as the portions were a little bit small. The waiters were great in serving the food and we never had to wait particulary long. Another recommendation I would have is to offer a bit more variety in the lunch boxes we got for the game drives. Perhaps we noticed it because we stayed a number of days at this lodge. The prices of drinks are quite reasonable. The views from the restaurant, the villa's and the swimming pool are amazing over the whole lake. The pool itself is really nice to swim in and always kept very clean. As we stayed about a week, we got a complimentary tour to the viillage Mto Wa Mbu and met the a local Maasai village. In addition we got a short hike along the lake. The villa's are great. In particular the bed was of good quality. The option to shower bot in and outside is good. On one of the days it was cloudy and raining a lot, which meant that we had no warm water to shower. I suppose that this a downside of staying at a eco friendly lodge, but as it was warm anyways, it was not particulary a problem. To conclude, I can fully recommend this lodge to everyone. It is a good central base to explore various national parks in the surrounding. It is also a good idea to take a day off from the safari and just relax and/or do a tour or two. …

The most amazing views! This lodge has it all! Service level is unmatched l! And the food is great. A vegi like myself can enjoy the restaurant just as much as the rest! The staff helped us out with the laundry and arranged activities! I will be back!

After a wonderful safaritrip we had a great time in one of the Manyara Secret villa's with our family of 10. This beautiful place, with excellent food and a great staff (thank you again Minah and Linus for your warm welcome) was our 'Zanzibar' at Lake Manyara. Time to relax, take a swim in the pool and reminiscing our time in this beautiful country. We really recommend this place!

Manyara's Secret is like paradise on earth. A few kms from the main road with villas set a short walk back from the lake. Your villa is luxurious - each has a plunge pool or swimming pool, amenities are well thought out, indoor and outdoor showers, plus huge bed. Then you have a main swimming pool with views looking towards Lake Manyara National Park. Photos on the website don't do this place justice it is even better than expected. Food was healthy and delicious plus there is a good selection of wines. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make your stay special. Mhyna and Linus you really made our stay memorable and we thank you again. Close to Lake Manyara National Park - we did self drive. The roads were treacherous due to onset of early rains so if you don't have a suitable car you would be better to book a safari with the Lodge. So much else I could say but do yourself a favour and just book - I can't wait to go back with friends.…

Absolutely amazing place, we could not fault any aspect of our stay. What an experience staying in this beautiful hotel/lodge. Gorgeous Cottages with private plunge pools on the terrace overlooking lake Manyara. Monkeys, Mongoose and lovely birdlife all viewable from our 4 poster bed. This resort was a treat and a wonderful surprise. After a 10 day Safari staying in ordinary accommodation and bush camps, our guide surprised us with Manyara’s Secret. It was truly wonderful. Our group really enjoyed the pool but our villa also had its own small pool. In addition, it had the choice of a great outdoor shower from which I could enjoy the view of Lake Mayara. The food here was exceptional and the staff were amazing. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

We have been robbed from the room but had to leave. The owner promissed te contact me, but did NOTHING!!!! Not even after my mail.... never again. It is unsafe. It had to be someone of the staff. I would have helped if the owners would have react of do something. They just dont care...
