The room was comfortable, the restaurant on the bottom floor served really good food. The one issue that we had that soured us on the stay was that we had to wait around for an hour and a half the morning we needed to check out. The woman who was the only one there the morning we were trying to...

We called in at Casa Da Nora last minute and they were so welcoming and accommodating. Our family room had two bedrooms and was cosy and comfortable with a view over the pool. The restaurant is outstanding and it seemed like locals came from far around to eat here. We all loved the pool area as well as the house...

We found this hotel using our GPS with no problem but the hotel says others have been directed to a nearby village. The hotel is located by a small river and has a charming water wheel. The owner spoke great English and told us to park in the courtyard of hotel for our stay and this was of course free....

This place was a little challenging to find since it was listed on Hotels.Com as being in Leiria when it's really in Cortes which is a little outside of Leiria. Hotels.com had two choices available, one which had a park view, was slightly smaller and was inexplicably more expensive than the other which had a river view. Since we were...

The menu was like masterchef, even the house wine was perfect...staff were extremely welcoming and polite. Next visit we may stay at least overnight instead of just lunch!!

We're on our way from Lisbon to Porto and want to find some place to stay near Alcobaca, Batalha and Tomar. Then, the research ends up with this lovely hotel in Cortes. We drove from Alcobaca and had no problem finding this hotel with our Garmin GPS. Our room is facing the small river and have a large balcony with...

We stayed two nights in a pleasant room in this former mill with lovely garden and pool. We found it easily with our TomTom Gps by navigating to Cortes first and then choosing the find a hotel option. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Very popular restaurant, so book your table early for a good choice of tasty authentic Portuguese cuisine.

First of all – a note regarding the Hotel’s Address. It is NOT in Leiria - it is in the village of Cortes about 5 miles from Leiria and the address Largo Poeta José Marques Da Cruz, 8, Leiria, is not recognised by TomTom GPS. Rua Jose Marques Da Cruz is recognised but only in Leiria!!! Consequently it is difficult...

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Casa de Nora. Our room was reasonably large, and nicely furnished. We had a small terrace, with a delightful view of the adjacent stream and the village of Cortes. Everything we needed was available in the room, although we could not say it was elaborate, just pleasant and comfortable - the Casa...

“I am writing this whilst sat by the pool having just stepped off the Hotel Pedlo Boat in the river next to the hotel. What a delightful, quaint, peaceful, relaxing haven! A true gem. This is a small, family run hotel situated next to the river in Leiria Portugal. Lunch or dinner in the restaurant is a must! The view and food are really good. Also a perfect location for visiting nearby villages and beaches. the beach at Sao Pedro de Moel is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely return. The breakfast was also good. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.”
