We stayed in a pod with our 3 year old son for 2 nights on our way down to the south of France. On arrival we were all shattered but our son instantly perked up when we were taken round the site on a golf buggy by the very welcoming lady on reception (a plus for any 3 year old)! The play areas for children are amazing... trampolines, bouncy castle, communal tent with ikea kitchens and toys. Although its brilliantly set up for kids the site was really quiet so we had a good nights sleep. There are pizza's cooked on site if you're too tired to make anything and breakfast in the morning was amazing. You can also hire a gas BBQ for 5 euros a day. Having travelled down to to the south of France with a child several times now, I can definitely say this has been the best stop over yet and I expect we'll be back. Thanks!

Our family are not traditionally campers so this was an experiment for us and we loved it. The site was exceptionally clean, the yurt was a good size with comfy beds and good facilities, I.e fridge, microwave, some basic plates etc. all that we needed. There was also trampolines, ping pong, football goals and badminton for the kids and on Saturday night the local wineries did an onsite wine tasting. Location was very close to several chateaus and the beautiful town of ambrosie. The staff don't speak much English but we got by and they were very friendly. We really enjoyed our two night stay and next time want to try the tree house rooms!

2 night-stay with kids (5, 8). Kids and parents enjoyed it very much! The yurte was lovely, rather large and well set (good beds, small fridge/microwave and even a small electric heater in case the nights are a bit chilly). The whole campsite is great for families, with several trampolines so you don't have to queue, balls and racket games at your disposal. The grounds are well maintained and the common areas are very clean. One small detail: the railway is not very far... but it must be a merchandise line and the trains don't run often, neither very late.

Came here recently for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. Fantastic venue. The caterers for the food were excellent (not sure if they were brought in or part of the venue). Accommodation in the various tipis and tree houses and Yourtes was great fun and really comfortable. It wasn't particularly hot and it was also raining at times when we were there but it really didn't matter. In the summer this place would be a fantastic place for families and friends to stay. Some of the dwellings have toilets (the tree house for instance), but the tipis do not. Even so, the toilet cabins dotted around the place are exceptionally clean, so no problems there. There's a table tennis table outside and a pit where you can play petanque (bowls). We were impressed. Highly recommend.
