This is one of the 3 Tourist camp in Gobi desert which has a power line and on- suite facilities. I have visited all three and Dream and Mirage were my favourite and I stayed in the Dream. Ger was simple but spacious and very clean. I loved a duvet instead of a blanket. They also set up a heater/cooler in the room. Surrounding scenery was spectacular. The space and the quietness was amazing and I was totally relaxed. I created my itinerary so that I had enough time to do nothing at the lodge and I absolutely enjoyed it. Service was excellent, each time I arrived back to the lodge, girls were running to the car to offer me a drink. Anything I requested in my room was provided. Spa was also very good and clean. Food was excellent, always cooked fresh and looked after my dietary requirement. Not much English is spoken (I had an English speaking guide) by the lodge staffs but it is evident that they are always frying to provide anything we want. I was very amazed to see full cooked breakfast was provided for a party leaving the lodge at 4 am in the morning!! I stayed in a luxury Ger at the back but if we could have a front view, that could be perfect. In my Ger, shower water pressure was low but they have arranged me to have a shower in the Spa.

We stayed there for three nights as part of a tour group. Each ger has two single beds, fan, heater, and lamp. The bathroom has a roomy shower and no issues with water. Breakfast was buffet style and you could order eggs your way including an omelet. There is a pool but the water was very cold. Internet is at a cost: 20,000 for 1 GBite. It worked fine in my ger.
Good location to visit various landmarks like the flaming cliffs and sand dunes.

This lodge is literally in the middle of the Gobi Desert. Nothing is immediately nearby except the peaceful isolation of the desert. That said, the lodge is actually in a good location for visiting the Dinosaur fossils at Flaming Cliffs and also for journeying in the other direction to the National Park for hiking in the beautiful Yol Valley. Staff at the hotel is wonderful and may even put on a small local fashion show for your group if you are staying multiple nights. The "Ger" rooms are comfortable and relatively spacious and the luxury gers have private baths.

Our group spent 3 nights here. We stayed in the standard gers, although there are deluxe ones. Ours had two single beds, tea kettle, a fan, table and top light, a few hooks for hanging clothes and an en-suite bathroom. Wi-Fi works in the main lodge. Breakfast was simple but good and cooked eggs to order were available to order. You pre order your lunch or dinner - a couple entrees to choose from. Beer, wine and some hard alcohol is available for purchase. We went out by our SUVs to visit Yol Valley and Flaming Cliffs during our stay.

A good place to stay in an amazing setting. Beds are comfortable, staff is helpful, gers are a fun and different experience. Food in the lodge was plentiful and well prepared, with a nice selection of breakfast items, including eggs cooked to order. Basic accomodation, perfectly suited to the location.

We came here with a group (Overseas Adventure Travel) but could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The gers are new and the bathroom facility was excellent. The staff was ever present and attended to any needs. Food was good and they had vegetables which many people visiting Mongolia complain about.

Beds excellent and when I asked for an additional pillow, it arrived immediately.

My Tip: They bake fresh cookies in the morning. Wrap up a few to take with you. They are good and you'll relish them later in the day (I promise!).

If you find my tips helpful, would you please give a "helpful vote'. I don't know that Trip Advisor ranks reviews by helpfulness but it couldn't hurt. Many thanks.

The main lodge is fashioned like a large ger. The top floor gives a dynamic view of the surroundings. It has a shaded balconey that is very nice to sit on a night with a cup of tea to watch the herds. It has a daylight basement where you can retreat from the heat of the day. Individual gers have private baths and fans to help with the heat. Trips to Vulture Gorge and the Flaming cliffs where dinosaur bones were discovered are available. The Gorge had beautiful purple mint wildflowers blooming when we were there. The chef is from UlaanBaatar and knows the western palate. He put out great food. The staff is very friendly. We were given a wonderful send off; one of their staff who has a beautiful voice sang for us.
