Jacquie was the perfect hostess, welcoming and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. The home cooked biscuits on arrival were a lovely thought and tasty. Breakfast was a real treat, delicious and generous. The poached pears and Jamacian bananas were lovely. We felt very relaxed. Thankyou Jacquie and Alfie the dog. We shall definitely return and have already recommended to family and friends.

Thank you Elaine! I love the mention of Jamaican (where I was born) bananas! It’s good to try different things - fruit salad you find everywhere! Hopefully see you all again one day! Jacquie

found our room key in a key safe. The room was clean and a good size with fresh milk and shortbread for a cup of tea/coffee. There was room to hang clothes and the bathroom was an ok size. We also had two small dogs which we were allowed to bring for a small surcharge. The B&B is well located for the beautiful Rutland Water and other towns and villages such as Stamford. Jacquie was a great host and served a delicious breakfast with eggs cooked how you liked! Fully recommend staying at Apples B&B.

My husband and I stayed at Apples for one night. We stayed in Pippin which was excellent. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. It was a really good sized room with a nice entrance hall and ensuite bathroom. There were some lovely homemade shortbread biscuits which went down a treat. Jacquie (and Alfie) were great, very cheerful and made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was superb with Jacquie's homemade granola and spiced pears, full english and homemade bread not forgetting the freshly squeezed orange juice. We would definitely return here.
