As regular travellers from UK to the Alps we like to stop off for a night and have dinner at our B&B. The welcome, facilities and dinner were delightful and we enjoyed the challenge of dinner in French! Dinner was lovely and we were able to make a request for our dinner in advance as we only eat chicken and...

We stayed here for one night on our way back to Calais from the Alps. It's location in a quiet village is perfect being just a few miles from the motorway. Michel welcomed us with a cold drink in his large kitchen that includes dining table and wood burner. This was the perfect setting for our evening meal. The five...

A great place to break the long journey from Calais to Valence on this occasion. Michel is a fantastic host offering a welcome refreshing drink on arrival. Easy to find from the motorway and a lovely, quiet position ensuring a good night's sleep in a most comfortable and spotlessly clean room. Dinner was excellent although there was more food than...

This was an excellent stopover on the way back from Italy to Calais. Michel is a generous and gregarious host. We had skipped lunch that day and it was just as well with the standard and abundance of the dinner he had prepared! Aperitifs, plenty of wine and local eau-de-vie helped us to practise our rusty French and our room...

We booked this Chambre d'Hôtes for our stopover to and from the South of France from the UK. We travelled with our 10 month old son. We could not have been treated better. After arriving horrendously late after delays at Calais, the host insisted on ensuring we were comfortable and fed. The food was plentiful and incredibly tasty, cooked with...

We stayed for just one night. The owner was incredibly welcoming and friendly. It is located really close to the centre of Troyes. the bathrooms are very big and spacious, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast provided is a real feast! I highly recommend this little hidden gem!

Arriving at 7pm after a longish drive from Calais we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and shown to our chosen room. Our host, Michel was really friendly but not too much so! So we relaxed in our room, which was delightfully furnished, very clean, and cosy (we were shown how to regulate the heating) and checked our emails -...

Warm welcome on arrival. The room and facilities of a high standard. Easy to find just off the A26 motorway. The hospitality was excellent and the Chef used local produce for the meals. The evening meal was superb and the atmosphere was excellent.

Eat here if possible. The meal that Michel served up was absolutely delicious, home-made and using mainly local ingredients. He ate with us as did his 22yr old daughter who is learning English and the 4 of us had an entertaining evening, with the assistance at times of her iPad. The bed was very comfortable though I struggled a bit...

We received a very warm welcome from our host on our arrival. Our room was charming with a lovely en-suite. We were treated to a very substantial evening meal with free flowing wine and many local dishes, all delicious. Our breakfast also consisted of plenty of fresh items and home made jams. Our host bent over backwards to make sure we...
