What an absolutely gem of a place and venue in the middle of nowhere really! A little difficult to get to, gravel road, but what you come to is a heaven of peace and beauty. There is everything you need here, rooms, restaurant, a lovely beach and area for children to play and oh, ever so peaceful. Definitely a place...

The rooms are quite basic, but the location (on the beach) and the restaurant kitchen make it up ! No cell phone reception, no internet: Fantastic for once. And the Inca ruins next door are also very interesting. Special recommendation for the guided walk to the penguins.

Stayed here one night while traveling the cost to Lima. The hotel was basic but clean. The staff was very good and getting our groups bags to all the rooms. This was one of the only hotels on our three week, 11 hotel, trip that had no WiFi. All the water is brought in by truck. We just had a...

The premises of the hotel are a few miles north of Chala and 3 miles off the Panamericana (see road sign). The hotel and the neighbouring campground are located at a very quiet beautiful bay featuring a nice, sandy beach, swimmingpool, restaurant, children¨s playground....surrounding rocks and the ruins of an Inca site. Everything is kept clean an tidy. Hotel and...

It's a small hotel right in the middle of nowhere, but perfectly located at the edge of th Pacific Ocean, so you will be falling asleep to the sound of the waves rolling ashore. Do not expect any luxury, but the room is clean and the bed fine. Perhaps you are lucky to have hot water in the morning. The...

The site ins beautiful, high waves, nice Inka ruins and lots of things to do for groups (volleyball, soccer, swimming, bonfires) but not really for couples, apart from looking at the ruins. Our mornign shower was cold, breakfast was ok but tables were dirty. Quite nice for groups...

Stayed here overnight for business in Chala. Hotel is a 25 ns ride from town. Friendly staff. Quite rustic conditions but for countryside surf bird sporting etc this is a perfect spot. Lots of Inca ruins on site. Beds and rooms are clean. Hot and cold running water is salt water. Recommended.

We were part of a tour group, passing from Arequipa to Nazca. In between there is precious little, other than pretty dirty easier villages, so this property rates OK, in light of there being very few other choices. Our tour was a budget option, so many people ca,per, but a few of us paid the extra and upgraded to a...
