We had the pleasure of staying at the Naladhu private island to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I am not even sure where to start with my review apart from to say this place is amazing and has the best level of service we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived at the resort from Anantara Veli we were greeted by our Villa host Mina at the entrance. Mina was always available via what’s up to answer any queries or making bookings for dinner and other activities for us. The resort manager Shaaz was always available to make sure our stay the resort was perfect. Special thanks to Villa host supervisor Jinan who was always available to assist with all our requests.
We had an Ocean house with pool private beach cabana villa which was amazing. Our villa had a Jacuzzi which I found very relaxing after a workout at the gym. The décor inside the villa was very modern. The pool at the villa was very private unlike many villas with pool at other resorts which are not private at all. The view of sunrise from the villa was really amazing every morning. The villa was specially decorated to celebrate valentine which made our stay even special. This was surprising for us as we did not request it at all.
The living room restaurant was exceptional as breakfast was served all day. The chef from Egypt made some special dishes for us to celebrate Valentine. The food was very tasty and delicious. You can order what you want without any questions and lots of good recommendations from the waiting staff on what to eat etc. Honestly everything about this resort is incredibly and we had the best team and I was really sad to be leaving, as mentioned the service is what makes this place, I have never experienced where the staff all seem to know where you have been and what you have been up to, they are all coordinated and will ask how was your gym workout or how was your football match at the staff Island.
I managed to play football with the resort staffs and other guests at the staff island 4G astro football pitch. I was in the winning team, and I manged score two goals. I Highly recommend booking this resort for your vacation, we will be returning to this island in future.

We decided on spending our honeymoon in Maldives, while searching online for a resort we stumbled upon a private island named Naladhu, it was as if we were destined to stay there.
We don’t know from where to start. Once our plane landed in Mali airport, they sent us someone to take our luggage and took us to a private room with a WiFi until they finished our transfer preparations. In addition, we found a luxurious yacht waiting to take us to the most beautiful island ever.
When we arrived we found all the Naladhu team waiting to welcome us and it was an exceptional greeting full of song and joy. As we were the first guests to arrive since the COVID lockdown, therefore, it was really special. Moreover, the General Manager Mr. Thomas was very welcoming as well as his amazing team. Mr. George one who introduced us to our Villa house Master Haisam who was really friendly and always made sure to prepare anything we wanted no matter the time.
Furthermore, Haisam is also the one who took us to our villa and showed us how to download and pair a cool application on the phone with which we can control and get anything or any service in the villa. He even took us in a small tour around the island before we went to our villa. They really took care of every little detail. We were happily surprised to find our names engraved on the villa door, once we got in we found a welcome cake and champagne waiting for us inside the villa, not to mention a perfect private pool, a steaming room and we even had a private beach area right in-front of us.
The restaurant is called the living room and it really was just like our living room at home, it was very cosy. The chef told us to choose any dish we want even if it’s not on the menu and that he will make it. The food was really delicious and every meal was perfect with world wide variety of cuisines. Thankfully, we had the most amazing staff Murphy & Mexxi making our stay there exceptional.
Finally we can say it is the best honeymoon destination ever, we really had an amazing stay at the Naladhu private island resort it was like a fairytale come true. We would like to thank you for making everything so perfect and unforgettable. Your honeymooners Mahmoud & Salma <3

We stayed here for our ten year anniversary and were blown away by this place. After looking at nearly all the 5* hotels Maldives has to offer, we settled on Naladhu due to its convenient location to Male (without being on its doorstep), the pictures online, value and TA reviews...
We were not disappointed, actually we were smitten as soon as we arrived with the resort manager and his team awaiting our arrival on the jetty playing traditional music. The island is both beautiful and intimate and we were soon shown to our ocean villa by our lovely house master Haseem. Check in was all taken care of, no sitting down at reception and faffing around...this set the tone for our four nights here. For example sitting down to breakfast and being asked what would you like - we have no menu just tell us your preference and the chef will prepare!! If not having a glass of champagne at breakfast being told it’ll be brought to our sun loungers in the afternoon!! Helping prepare a customised five course menu with matching wines on the beach!! Absolutely flexible, personal and you really felt the genuine desire to make your stay special. All the staff from the resort manager to your house master, housekeeping, restaurant, chef, or the guys on the shuttle boats were fantastically charming and helpful.
As others have mentioned on this thread the other major bonus is that you can venture onto the other two islands at your whim, one is adults only (Veli) and the other is much bigger and focused on family (Dhigu). There are small transfer barges which run frequently or you can grab a canoe and paddle over as if on a desert island, whilst on the canoe over seeing loads of marine life go by below, just fantastic. And the fact the other guests can’t use Naladhu adds to the air of exclusivity!
Massive kudos to Tomas and his team, this place is a real gem and ticked every box and then some! We’d love to be back for our 11th anniversary :)

We stayed at Naladhu Private Island for 3 nights, being this the first time visiting the Maldives. I simply have no words to describe this place, we left in tears and I cannot wait to be back. I have been lucky enough to travel the world, but the Ocean Villas at Naladhu have to be the best hotel room I ever stayed in.
The design is amazing and it makes you feel at home immediately, the views are breathtaking and food has no parallel. It is a wonderful thing that Naladhu offers breakfast at anytime of the day, and the Lobster at The Living Room restaurant was the best one I ever tried. I think this hotel is perfect for a couple. We had a massage in the nearby Anantara Dhigu Island which is just across the lagoon.
I want to thank Bibin, Hassan and the rest of the team for giving us the best holidays of our lives. We hope to be able to be back once Naladhu reopens in 6 months time.
Last but not least, I absolutely loved the wildlife. We saw how at night the place came to life with a huge procession of crabs, snorkelling was wonderful. I think Naladhu should work in more coral nurseries inside the lagoon and would be great to minimize any plastic bottles on restaurants at Anantara properties.
At night the sky was absolutely breathtaking, I do not think I have ever seen so many stars.
It is such a delight, a treasure on earth that has to be preserved.
Above all, nature makes Naladhu one of a kind.
In conclusion, I was not expecting a memorable stay and it left me very pleasantly surprised, mesmerized and in love with the Maldives.
I think everyone should go to Anantara Naladhu at least once in a lifetime.

The holiday started with staff from resort collecting us from arrivals and taking us to their small lounge to await transfer. Then we were whisked away to seafront to be taken by a smart speedboat to the island. Barely 30 minutes later we were landing to a lovely welcome from staff and our butler for the week. Walking around the well manicured grounds, we arrived at our personally labelled ocean front villa. Spotlessly cleaned and with lots of special touches to welcome us. Air con was vital as weather was a constant 28-30° all week. The pool at the villa was a very welcome addition and all the furnishings were tasteful & luxurious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever we needed them. My butler Sulvaan was always on hand if anything needed, or left us alone if that's what we wanted. There is a large bar in the villa if you want alcohol but lots of lovely non alcohol choices available at mealtimes. Prices are in dollars and are not cheap but this is a high end resort. Nearby we popped over to see the local islands and also went snorkeling at Picnic Island. There are a lot of water activities available at a cost but plenty of opportunity to laze at the beach or poolside. There is a private cabana on the beach and no need to get down early to hog the loungers!! Towels are always available wherever you are based so no need to carry wet towels around. The villa has everything you need plus stuff you may not have thought of! An outside shower just sums up the luxury of the resort. Rooms are tieded whilst at breakfast and room turn down in the evening. Food is awesome and you can also order items not on the a la carte menu. Breakfast can be taken at any time- no time barrier. On the last evening they gave us a special table near the sea front. I cannot fully express the enjoyment I had as I'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed over the whole experience. There is less to do on this island than perhaps some others in the Maldives, but the other 2 islands nearby do offer more activities should you want them.

Our stay at Naladhu was by far our best get away! The team really pays attention to every detail making each guest feel special. We arrived to the island with rose petals being dropped on the pathway ahead of us. Mina helped us during our stay and we truly loved interacting with her. She would make sure our favorite fruits were brought to our room everyday, decorate our room, and make us a bath at the end of the day. She was so personable and a french fry lover like us lol. Shaz is also an amazing human, you tell this by how well all the employees at Naladhu operate. I felt like everyone on the island knew us and truly wanted us to have the best stay ever! :)

We have just returned from 11 days at the Naladhu private island. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately we had had to postpone our holiday by 2 weeks due to illness. We dealt Shaaz and Giles and they were so helpful and accommodating under difficult circumstances. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the boat transfer and the traditional welcome we felt special. We were had 6 nights in a beach villa and 5 nights in a ocean villa. Both rooms were the same quality and elegance, we couldn’t decide which one was our favourite. We were looked after very well by Aslam who was our kuwaana, he was always at the end of the phone/what’s app for anything we needed, nothing was too much trouble for him. Every day we would come back to little snacks in the room and even flowers on Mother’s Day. The day to day room servicing was done by Babu and it was a nice touch to come back to a rose petal bubble Bath and personal messages every day. We ate at the Living Room, Baan Huraa and Sea Fire Salt on the other island of Dhigu, all meals were very well presented and delicious. The only slight disappointment was we weren’t advised that Veli island was shut due to renovations because we had been looking forward to eating at the Japanese restaurant there. Naladhu is a very special place, we look forward to definitely returning one day.

As soon as the Maldives came on the travel corridor we booked. Fully aware of the huge variety of reorts to stay at we decided to return to Naladhu for the 4th time. Although we hadn’t been since 2015. We knew we had made the right decision when we opened the door to our ‘House’ and were bowled over yet again by the light and space. It helped that on the first evening Shaheed asked us if we wanted our usual; Margarita for myself & Bloody Mary for my husband. Real attention to detail. The attention to detail was personified by our ‘House Master’ Haisam. What makes Naladhu stand out is the absence of ‘glitz’, a belief in the very best and a determination and ability to deliver it. Tomas has done a fantastic job of training the staff to really make their guests feel welcome. Nothing is too much. Food is delicious with a huge variety of choice. In fact you are encouraged to choose off the menu if you want. Kumar made us a wonderful Indian dinner. We highly recommend the snorkel excursion to see and swim with the nursery sharks, an amazing experience. Also don’t miss the snorkel island, (I’ve forgotten it’s proper name), but a boat from the island takes you there, (it’s a few minutes away). The island is owned by the hotel group & comes equipped with toilet/shower facilities, a bar & a restaurant. We both had a spa treatment which was excellent. Having 2 sister properties in proximity (one accessed over a bridge, the other a 2 minute shuttle away) allows you the flexibility of eating at other restaurants if you want a change from your private island. The Thai restaurant was both authentic and excellent. What a treat to be able to escape to paradise, although our trip had to be cut short when BA cancelled flights & we had to leave the following day, almost a week early due to the second lockdown. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well. We will be back.

Wonderful holiday from arrival until departure ! We booked an 8 day stay and enjoyed the tranquility and bliss that comes with staying in Maldives .
From the moment you arrive to airport , there is dedicated anantara room at exit where you can await your water boat , get a quick drink and even shower after long journey . Quick boat ride and you are met with a smiling staff who are there to show and explain everything and attend to your every detail. We had an ocean villa booked , and yes there is no stairwell to the water , that being said I would not risk going in even if it was - as it’s straight into deeper end and reef , there is a beautiful bay with white sand to walk along and jump into water when needed ;) as you stay in Naladhu you have access to the other 2 Anantara sister hotels ( including their restaurants ) however , their guests cannot come to Naladhu. We opted for half board and food ( including restaurants in sister hotels ) was included , one had to pay for drinks only . There is plenty of choice when it comes to food - Asian , Italian , international cuisines for all choices and preferences . Of course plenty of fresh fruit and juices and smoothies are just a text away to your butler ( as there is no reception in the mainstream understanding , each villa has a dedicated butler service ). Remember , Maldives is officially a Muslim country , so you are not allowed to bring alcohol into country and as extension any alcoholic beverages are vey costly . I cannot fault anything from our holiday , is is both body and mind relaxing time and Naladhu team has done everything to ensure that’s how we felt !

Was staying for two days with my friend. The island is situated close to airport and easy to reach. Very serene atmosphere, beautiful nature, rooms of exquisite style, ocean houses situated right on the reef wave breaker, so you can hear the ocean and see it from your bed. I suppose you speak about your luggage.
I never ask the buttler this kind of assistance.
However I think that all people going in a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ hôtel should know that his buttler will do that with pleasure of course.
