I've called directly the owner to make a reservation. She told me that will be better if I will stay minimum two nights, because is not a business for her to receive guests only for one night. In this time, on the website is stating the price for one night and they can receive without a problem for only one night. At the end she told me that is not ok to clean up after the guests after one night. Will be a hard job and is better to keep the room free. So, she didn't want our money for one night and this is it the hospitality in our country. Shame on you!
We had five days in the area and stayed here for two nights and spent three in Vadu Izei. We should have stayed at Pensiunea Turlas for all five nights because it was the most welcoming,, enjoyable, peaceful place with very spacious comfortable rooms and excellent meals. My husband and I and our adult son had the two room unit facing the open land in the back. We enjoyed our own covered porch with picnic table and lovely views. The owners were absolutely delightful, providing abundant breakfasts and dinners and accommodating my vegetarian diet. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. We were a little concerned upon arrival that there was “nothing” around and we were on a busy road. The owners have created a bit of paradise for travelers to the area.
The property is located on the main road at the end of the village. They have several rooms located in the large back garden that allows you to really take in the beauty of their surroundings. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. We only booked with breakfast included but we strongly recommend that you also have dinner. The host is a really good cook and you will definitely like everything they serve. They also have accommodations for groups of friend an families with children.
Just amazing, if you like rustic with modern amenities this is the place, the owner went beyond any expectations to make me feel comfortable , rooms were nice , clean with a look from the past , breakfast was good, I will definitely return if in the area again, I had a little chalet:)
The pension is located in a nice dwelling in a village. The rooms are clean and rusticly decorated. The place is quiet and green. Our room had a porch with a small table. A swing is near in the yard. On the 'cons' side, the shower water flow is poor. The owners are a lovely couple. The husband is speaking English a little but is more comfortable with French. The dinner is prepared by the couple and is tasty. Horinka is free. Our warm recommendations.
