I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. It is amazing. The room was clean, had all the amenities, and bug free (I have a phobia - I DO look!). The setting is beautiful, a traditional antique Inn that has been renovated, but still has historic appeal. But, the truly remarkable thing about this hotel is the staff. Staying as a... More

A world away from the tourist areas, this is traditional Cypriot hospitality at it's best. We were taken under Maria's wing, spoilt and made to feel like family members. A hidden gem that you should experience.

We visit this lovely place just for a day but it was worth it! Very clean and also relaxing as you can sit on the balcony watching the stunning view and the sunset or either chill in the yard under the arbor. Fully recommend!!

We know the island of Cyprus very well, but havent really explored the area up in the hills and mountains above Paphos. Made an online booking and received a prompt reply advising that this was a busy time of the year and normally a 3 night stay is required. However; as there was a gap between bookings we were accomodated... More

Welcomed by Maria and Marios ,mother and son .Immediately. Made to feel part of the family by Maria , who instantly produced the typical Cypriot delicacy sweet and a drink .from then on Maria insisted on producing fruit and her lovely homemade cake.Dined with Maria on one of the evenings, again producing never ending food ! We spent two nights at this charming small hotel in Lasa village. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the crowds (while still being close to the beaches - 20-30 min drive to Polis or Paphos) and also the climate is more bearable in the middle of summer (it is a bit more dry there). Official Description (provided by the hotel)
LASA HEIGHTS is a small family owned hotel situated in the rolling hills above the town of Paphos. Part of the hotel, built in the 19th century, was for many years the village coffee shop and the natural meeting point in the area. The old building has recently been renovated in the traditional Cypriot style and a new wing added. The hotel comprises 9 double rooms with en-suit bathrooms, arranged around a charming courtyard set with natural stone, in the middle of which stands a beautiful old olive tree. There are some stunning views towards the Akamas peninsula and the pretty port of Latchi. This is the ideal location for the discerning traveller. ... more   less
