The Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa garners high praise for its professional staff and personal touches that elevate the guest experience. Its tranquil atmosphere and meticulously furnished spaces offer a serene escape, complemented by spotless villas and pristine beaches.
While the spacious, amenity-rich rooms provide comfort and privacy, guests have noted the tranquility can be occasionally disrupted by noise. The resort's amenities, including diverse dining options and excellent snorkeling opportunities, are popular among visitors, though some caution about the steep food prices, particularly for simpler fare.

This property is probably the most underrated property in the Maldives due to its location but definitely worth a visit for the discerning traveler looking for a private island like experience. Mr Prieznitz and his team definitely know how to cater to their clients and very rare fact for a property there : we met a lot of other residents and none had anything to complain about. Stunning !
The GM Nikolas is always on site with a hands-on approach that allows everyone to feel taken care of. A great feeling that starts as soon as you get off the boat from local Koodoo. Airport. As a frequent Park Hyatt guest, I was really expecting top service and was not disappointed. Pranita from the reservation team was extremely detailed and clear about what we would get coming in and that’s a comfortable feeling as you avoid the usual disappointment of setting your expectations too high. We had a butler Shareef who was as discreet as he was efficient. Very nice personality and someone we would recommend for a nice stay. Always there when needed but never too much or too pushy. Thanks Shareef ! You’re the best !
The food options are still being improved and the base is very good with a local japanese joint on the water and a fantastic Island Grill venue. We mostly ate at the main Dining room and room service because of the kids. Chef Dessi has a warm presence in all the venues ensuring that all goes well with the very diverse menu. one of my key criterias for a luxury property is the quality of the breakfast and there we had it perfect. They easily score a 10/10 and this was sublimed by the amazing New Year buffet offering which was one of the best we had worldwide. Very unassuming but catering to all tastes. 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
We loved the villa - which was the basic beach access but still comfortable enough for a family with an extra bed. Nice outside area and access to a beach which feels very private. All the facilities worked fine and everything is within walking distance which creates a private island feel that we really enjoyed. No need for buggies or even bicycles.
We tried the spa which is built on very nice e grounds and has very nice treatment rooms - the largest I have seen on the island. Room for improvement on the treatment quality but feedback was given to the team. The pool at the spa is the resort’s best kept secret 🤫.
Lastly we want to give special thanks to the staff at the Dining Room and the Bar ( Govind and is crew ) who were so attentive and so caring everyday when we came after the meals to relax.
The PH maldives is a bit hard to get to compared to other properties but once you get there you understand why they don’t have to make extra efforts to fill it up. We met great people on the ground who are already booking for next year Xmas. We are too ! Definitely ! Thanks Nikolas and your entire team. You are definitely a top team and a very nice surprise to anyone who wants to go off the beaten track ! We loved 🥰 our vacation and the transition to 2022 ! Herzlichen Vielen Dank !

My husband and I celebrated our Honeymoon at Park Hyatt, Maldives and it was nothing short of life changing. Every day, they treated us to special desserts, invited us to the famous management cocktail, were all ears for all our requests and upgrades- our best Hyatt and resort experience in a new country so far. Our private host, Elisabeth was extremely attentive and kind. I also want to mention that I was terrified of water and do not swim well but the Hyatt Snorkelling Guide Aslam was extremely professional and his sense of calm made my experience snorkelling beyond amazing. If I have any complain, the photo-shoot charges are extremely high and we have still not received the soft copies of the photos we already paid for. Other than that, their restaurant, bar, spa, their landscape and quality of water and aquatic life are just unbeatable.

What a trip...second time to the Maldives and first time to the Park Hyatt and we had an amazing time. We only did the park villa which was perfect because the pool area (and don't forget the quiet one by the spa) are great and the regular park villa is still beachfront so we could easily access the water. The room had plenty of rooms and a nice modern design. As for the rest of the resort highlights included an amazing beach with great service from the staff (bringing you a cooler with ice and water and a great place to keep beverages cold) and the restaurants and bar were great as well. Food was top notch and we did the premium all inclusive which gave us access to champagne as well as the specials like lobster, sushi and sashimi, etc. As great as the facility was the attentive staff (standouts include Ali, Hussain, and Dila) ensured our stay was perfect from start to finish! Already figuring out how to get back...

Dear Klick21, My team and I are happy to know that you had a fantastic holiday while staying at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa. We are indeed fortunate to be one of the smallest resorts in the Maldives, which help us create an environment of bliss and tranquillity. As you noticed, even when the hotel is full, you never get the feeling that there are many guests in the resort. Thank you for recognising the individuals that stood out and rest assured that we are also recognising them and sharing your feedback. Beautiful beautiful hotel and staff. From the moment we arrived to Male airport till we left from Male airport the vacation was perfect. The Park Hayatt took care of everything. From international airport to domestic airport then the boat ride to the island all was arranged impeccably and the same going back home. Shahum was responsible for us and he took care of every need. Also he was always available yet we did not feel over whelmed. It was a family vacation and they took care of all details. We had a sunset water villa and a sunrise park villa. Both were beautiful. Each had a special beauty. Depending if you were a morning person or a night person. The food was delicious. There was no meal that was not perfect. My daughter is glouton free and the master chef made sure she had freshly baked pastries always and they were the best she had. We had a Maldivian feast dinner on the beach that is not to be missed. Snorkeling is a must and the dive center have amazing instructors and guides. The beach area is really nice and you can feel your privacy even if the hotel is full. Best New Year celebrations. Nothing beats celebrating on the beach with the whole island lit. A vacation will not forget. Defiantly will go back.

Park Hyatt Hadahaa
Island / Facilities
We stayed at the PH Hadahaa for five nights, split between a villa and an overwater villa. The island villas are more private and stay cooler during the day due to the tree cover whereas the water villas have a beautiful view of the reef below. Even though the PH is one of the older resorts in the atoll, the architecture of the buildings on the island remain elegant and beautiful against the Indian Ocean backdrop. The resort spa is a tranquil retreat within the island and provided one of the best massages we’ve had in the world. The house reef is teeming with life and in our brief hour of snorkeling, we saw impressive coral formations, a turtle, a reef shark, a flock of eagle rays, and myriad fish.
Service
The staff throughout the island are all very friendly and Park Hyatt provides a personal touch. The staff very quickly learned who we were and after the second meal, we were automatically provided vegetarian menus even when we were served by staff we had not met before. When we asked for something to be created off menu, the kitchen staff was able to accommodate with a custom meal. Our host Ali was a pleasure to interact with and took care of our room transfer and the few custom requests that we had.
Diving
The dive staff were all great throughout our orientation dives and 6 boat dives. We had Ibrahim and Hissan as our dive guides and our Nitrox course instructor. We were so impressed by our first 2 dive sites (4 dives) that we added another day of diving (2 dives) as soon as we got back. The reefs and marine life in the atoll are amazing and cannot be missed if you are scuba divers.
I typically do not return to a destination often as I have a long list of place to visit, but between the diving and the PH I am looking forward to coming back.

The resort and activities are absolutely fabulous at the Park Hyatt Maldives. My husband and I did a water sports day where we spent 4 hours on a private island doing whatever water sports we wanted. Kayaking, wake-boarding, jet skiing, etc. Our room, which they upgraded for us, was spectacular. The food and drinks are really good and they put so much effort into the dinners on the beach. We ended up doing a "BBQ" on the beach for dinner once night, which was such an elaborate spread for about 10 couples. Our manager, Ali and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful each day.
There were a few disappointing things, our private dinner was canceled an hour before we were supposed to do it because they thought it might rain (which it did not) and we did the equator experience which states that you are able to swim between the two hemispheres, except they told us once we were at the equator that we could not get it due to potential sharks (so instead we just stood on the boat). I would not have don the experience if I was just going to stand on a boat and look at a compass. The most disappointing though was the staff clearly not wanting to let us know how difficult flights would be leaving the resort. Each night there were guests being told at dinner that they'd end up sitting at the Male airport 4 to 7 hours before their international flights (which they do not tell you until the night before leaving the resort). We ended up being on a flight 3 hours earlier than we expected and had a 5 hour layover in Male (instead of 2 hours). The Park Hyatt put so much work into the arrivals for guests (a VIP lounge to wait in until your flight, etc) but they drop you off at the Male airport 5+ hours before your flight and won't let you back into the lounge or airport terminal, so you have to sit outside a Burger King until 2 hours before your flight.
So while the resort is just incredible, you need to be prepared to have an extremely long travel day on either end of your trip and be prepared to not know when you'll actually be flying out for Male.

Responded Jan 12, 2020
Dear Marie 291, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am glad you had an incredible time in the resort and fore recognising Ali. I have shared your comments in regards to your trip to the equator and how they should inform you in advance of the possibility of not swimming between the two hemispheres due to the rough weather. I am afraid there was some misinformation about the potential sharks. More importantly, I would like to apologise for the experience you had with your domestic transfer after your departure. As we were facing a lot of challenges with the local airline for the festive period, the team was trying their best to get to you to Male on time, so you did not miss your international flight. Unfortunately, we have no control over the service or schedule of the local airline, but we have also officially shared our complaints with their management team. In addition, the only reason why we do not provide our guests with a departure lounge while they wait is that there isn't one before the security area of the international airport. If this will change in the future, rest assured that Park Hyatt Maldives will also provide this to our guests. My team and I are happy to know that even though there were some hiccups, you enjoyed your holiday with us. Warm regards, Stavros Packeiser General Manager Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

My wife and me went to the Park Hyatt Maldives on our honeymoon for a week. Ali was a great host and greeted us right away and was always available to take our calls and help us organize meals. My wife and I had special kosher dietary restrictions and the hotel imported the food for us from Australia and then heated it up for us whenever we asked.
We had a mixup at the end of our trip due to the domestic travel arrangements at the end of our trip, and Pranita at the hotel helped us extend our trip for one day in a kind and affordable manner. It was great to have such awesome customer service when things got down to the wire. We also got a free upgrade to a private swimming pool unit for the last few nights of our trip.
Ahsan was AMAZING and showed us around all the local islands and took us snorkling in the coral reefs. I would recommend reef snorkling for anybody who wants to do activities, because we saw countless sea turtles and beautiful fish. I will say we were a little disappointed with the bioluminescent snorkling, because we did not get to see any plankton or even much coral that was bioluminescent. Plus, we had to reschedule because one of the masks were broken, but we got a discount. I would not recommend this activity and would instead stick to reef snorkling.
The weather was amazing. We were charged $600 for the mandatory holiday party even though we could not eat any of the food. This was a disappointment because we asked in advance not to be charged but were charged anyways. There was also a mix up where I signed for a $4000 charge at the end of our stay, but our card was then charged an additional $2000 after our stay. This charge should have been reflected on our final invoice and was not.
The value for our money and our ability to use points greatly enhanced our trip. It took three flights and a boat to get to the resort, but it was worth it! My only complaint was the vague billing practices. I would recommend Park Hyatt Maldives to anyone. Thanks for giving us a great trip and unforgettable honeymoon!

Dear 223 came, We are happy to receive your feedback and thank you for taking the time to recognise Ali, Pranita and Ahsan. I am glad to learn that you enjoyed your time with us and got to experience the unique opportunities this part of the world has to offer. Our reef is indeed a gathering place for all the wonderful sea life of the Maldives. It is unfortunate you did not enjoy your night snorkelling, and speaking from experience it is one of my favourites as it is so different from anything else. I am happy to know that the team took action as you faced some challenges with the gear. Please let us know if the final charges to your card have not been resolved or if there is anything else we need to do from our side. Thank you for choosing Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa as your honeymoon destination, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back for your anniversary. +1
This was our second trip to the island and we were excited to see if the experience was going to be as great as the first trip. Most of the staff recognized and appreciated our second visit.
From the time we were met at the Male airport, we received unimaginable service. Three employees from the Hyatt took us to the hotel boat and were so excited to show us several dolphins jumping. They were very happy to stop and take a few minutes to let us watch.
Munisa did a great job hosting our stay. At every moment notice, she was able to deliver great service and help us with all of our requests.
The activity we love the most is snorkeling around the amazing house reef! We went 2 or 3 times a day to view the immense beauty of the reef corals and the sea life. The onsite marine biologist (happily surprised to hear that Hyatt was concerned about reef and environment) was very knowledgeable about the reef and is very active in the management of the reef.
Ebay from the dive and activities center provided great service on our fishing and snorkeling excursions. He also helped feed us with the fish he caught on the days when our luck was low. We had a lovely conversation with him on the roof boat observing the stars on the way back from the trip.
The sunrise yoga with Jubin was an amazing way to start the day.
The restaurant staff provided great service and were very quick to remember and provide our favorite drinks each morning.
Our villa attendant, Nattu, refreshed the villa each day and surprised us with a lovely bathtub presentation and departing message.
Thanks for the great experience and we look forward to our next visit!

I’ll start with the cons first:
1. Location is far so transport is slightly inconvenient. Another 1.5h plane ride from male + 0.5h boat ride. Expect to waste half a day traveling from Male alone. We left our male hotel at 9.30am and only arrived at the hotel at 4pm.
2. Room blinds are wooden boards that were chipping off. This made sliding them a challenge.
Pros:
1. Reef was diverse and beautiful. Because the resort’s location is pretty far, the reef and corals are still in pristine condition. A quick snorkel around the jetty and we saw sharks and eagle rays.
2. Service was exception. Everyone there was helpful and welcoming. Massive shoutout to Kelly who was our butler. She speaks 4 languages fluently (English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay) and made the entire experience personable. Would highly recommend visitors to request for her. Wait staff were also very helpful in general. Hamzan was not only willing to help us take pictures but even suggested ideas for our pictures. Rifuath from the dive centre is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful about the waters, making the entire water activity relaxing and stress-free.

If you’re looking for a luxury, quiet oasis in Maldives, Park Hyatt Maldives is the place. We just returned from 5 night stay and enjoyed every minute of our holiday.
The place is beautiful and serene. With only 50 rooms, we felt like we were the only ones on the island at times. Note that park Hyatt is the only hotel on this island (not shared with other resorts), which made a huge difference for us.
The snorkeling was excellent. The accommodations were beautifully designed and comfortable. We stayed in an overwater bungalow and it lived up to all expectations. Housekeeping by Raoof was perfect, allowing us to look forward to a clean, comfortable and tidy room everyday when we returned from the beach.
What makes a hotel special is not just the location and accommodations. It’s the service as well. And park Hyatt didn’t disappoint. From the moment we set foot at Male airport, we were greeted by Ibrahim (representative from the hotel) who assisted us with transportation to the hotel. I will say, getting to Park Hyatt is no easy feat. It requires another short flight followed by a speed boat (fun!). It’s no doubt a long journey, but the hotel made it a seamless and easy process. Ibrahim was awesome. Friendly, professional, helpful and overall made our journey to and from the hotel a pleasant one.
The restaurant and bar staff were extremely welcoming as well. Can’t say enough about the food. We opted for the half board option, which worked out well for us. Get ready for a lot of food…GOOD food. The wait staff were one of the main highlights of this holiday. Julie and Rassam were so much fun to converse with during breakfast and dinner. They were professional, attentive and thoughtful. The incredible food coupled with top notch, five star service really is what made this trip a memorable one for us. And I won’t forget the really thoughtful and unique cappuccino art made by the talented barista at breakfast!
Lastly, our personal host, Shamin, was more than a host. He was a solution provider to extremely complicated and head spinning protocols for COVID requirements back to Singapore and the US. These requirements are changing constantly, so organizing PCR tests in the most efficient and cost effective way was required. Shamin to the rescue! Thank you for going above and beyond.
We are so pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury, boutique, five star experience in Maldives.

They will do all of those things if you ask!
I believe your butler will unpack for you if you like as for the beach/pool. Honestly, you will spend more time in your own villa pool than at the main pool. We would spend mornings after breakfast at the main pool (our villa pool was in shade in morning) and we were literally the only people at the pool the entire stay. There is so much open beach that you will never have a problem getting a spot or anyone even sitting close to you. Enjoy the resort, it is one of our favorites in Maldives because of its remoteness and fantastic service.
Hi Nikos. Hyatt typically always grants a late checkout of at least an hour world-wide. However, specifically for this hotel in the Maldives the team will accommodate you based on your flight arrival and departures. There are limited number of planes that flight into the island nearest Hadahaa. In addition, the check-in process at the airport is a little bit lengthier so they like to make sure you get there in enough time.
The staff at the resort will arrange for your transfers and will provide all the information 24-48hohrs prior to your landing in Male. They need all your flight information to coordinate all transportation
Dear LindyLouisa,
Thank you very much for your inquiry, and yes indeed we do not feature any evening entertainment during this time of the year. From December until March inclusive our in house vocalists entertain during the dining period. As we embrace the SLOW life and personalized / private luxuries it is our aim to create individual experiences that are long time memories.
It would be wonderful to welcome you on our island paradise Hadahaa :)
Sincerely
Nik and the Hadahaa family
