We spent a family vacation at Felidhoo for 8 days. Bikine beach is just 50 meters away from the house. Local reef on that beach is very nice and easy to access (I mean you don't have to walk over corals or swim long). We were the only guests in the house most of days so enjoyed with its heritage at most. We got a full board food package and never regret that. Owner, Mr.Rauf provided us with various set of meals (mostly fish) and fulfilled our meal requests. He also gave us a lot of useful information about island and its domestic life. Got once an excursion from hotel to reef near-by on boat. That reef was great! All furniture, AC, plumbing are good and works fine. Maybe for someone it is an issue that room doesn't have a TV, but for me it is not needed.

One of my favorite islands in Maldives if you're looking for a calm place. For those who seek adventures it's a lot of diving, fishing and snorkeling here too. Wonderful beach and a clean island. The locals is also very friendly here. Rauf is the best host ever. Helped me with everything that I needed and we had endless discussions about life. The room was terrific, clean, big and beautiful interior with ac. The whole building was beautiful with a perfect location. The beach is not even one minute from there. The food was the best in the whole Maldives. It's absolutely delicious. I miss it! Thankful for my experience here. I recommend this with my heart ❥

Over all, I had a good stay except It was a little tiring to chat with the owner because he was too worried about low season biz. I was on holiday and I clearly told him that many times. (I am a biz consultant) There is not much to do here except snorkeling and that's why I was here to do nothing and relaxed well. Pros-Room was small but with a super clean big bathroom and a new AC. The owner speaks German and English. 1 young and very helpful staff. Owner guides snorkeling with you for free. His brother also has a guest home next door and looked nice but not on booking site. Cons-mosquitos in the dining area, smoker friendly owner, Unstable and no Internet access on checkout day, No TV, No soap in room, pricy food and water at gh, no real restaurants in the island except 2 tea shops. Various taxes added on final bill(12 percent gvmt tax +3USD green tax per night per person 4 percent for cards, making it costlier. Hard to find the owner around the house in the eve with no message etc Stayed for 2 nights the owner kept saying "short stay" Communication needs to improve(No names No intro No guest book No tax info on menu etc) Needs to be more cheerful and resourceful. Don't pay the speedboat until you are in the right island. Fuludoo is another island 20 min from Felidoo and some farangs got off confused in the past.

It's a really great place to stay. The island is quite distant from Male so it's very quiet and relaxed. The room was clean and the owner very helpful and attentive. Continental breakfast was included and we also had our lunches and dinners in the guest house. The bikini beach is in 50 metres from the guest house

We had wonderful 10 days at Masfalhi View Inn and we really recommend this guesthouse. It is a great location if you want to experience the "real" Maldives. The island is small but it is the main island of the atoll so it has a small hospital and police station there. You will also find several small shops where you can buy drinks, snacks at reasonable price (500ml water bottle costs like 6 MVR). There is also a pharmacy, a bakery/cafe, and a souvenir shop. The ferry ride from Male to Felidhoo took us 5 hours – which was a little exhausting but it was cheap, we only paid 53 MVR. (Make sure you bring some snacks and drinks for the ride! ;)) There are only 2 guesthouses on the island so it is never crowded. The beach is very nice, with chairs, parasols free of charge. The sand is white and soft, the water is beautiful and clear and it had a nice house reef with hundreds of fishes in different colors and shapes. We have even seen a large sting ray, riff shark and turtle. Unfortunately some of the corals suffer from coral bleach and are dead. We were picked up at the ferry port and served a welcome drink upon arrival at the Masfalhi View inn where Rauf the owner gave us information on the island, the locals, tips and all the services/excursions they organize. The Masfalhi View Inn is located very close to the bikini-beach (around the corner). It is a small guest house with only 4 rooms and you will be treated as a family member (if you want to - if not, you can have your privacy). The whole team is very kind, service oriented and helpful – if you have questions or need help, Rauf and his team will be there to help you (Like I got sick and he helped me out with medicine). The food is excellent, served fresh and different every day!! We ate dinner at our place every day since it was so good. The dinner contained fresh salad, vegetables, meat or fish or both, side dishes and fresh fruits or coconut as dessert. The dishes were prepared different every evening but tasted always delicious. Our room was very spacious with a separate bathroom. The A/C was new and very silent so it did not bother us at night. It was cleaned every day. They surprised us by folding and decorating our sheets every day. Thanks for that!! ;) Beside the snorkeling trip we also booked the Dolphin tour and a day at Hulidhoo Island what we enjoyed most! To sum up, this place is perfect if you look for a quiet and relaxed vacation at the beach with nice snorkeling – to experience the real Maldives at good price.
