I will try and keep this factual! Some tips first. Bring American Dollars. If you are all inclusive like us, we only used the money for tipping. We tended to attach the tip to the clipboard when you sign out of the bar or restaurant after your final drink. This is a Muslim country where drinking is forbidden, so it seems all drinks are accounted for, you get used to it but it is very different from other all inclusive resorts in that way. BRING MOSQUITO REPELLENT. I came back with about twenty bites. They provide a kind of bug bomb spray in the rooms, you spray then get the hell out, then when you are back your room should be bug free. This is a step we forgot on the first night. Tip the room service people, leave $5 or so on the bed and they will make you smile with their various towel designs. The rooms: We got a deluxe beach villa. These are four villas, two up, two down. We were on the top, so had an enclosed balcony. The villas below have an open patio. Very South African decor, which was semi dated but still good. The only issue is they are in the middle of a complete refurb as these villas are not soundproofed at all. If someone is next to you, you hear everything so we asked to move after some people moved in next door with their telly on until after 2am. We then moved to the Deluxe Sunset Villas. These basically face out to sea and not the lagoon like the Beach Villas but our view was covered in palm trees but it looked nice and was private so who cares? You see 360 views of the sea every time you breathe so it was fine. The Sunset Villas have been refurbed with a more solid roof structure so there is less noise from the people around you. You can't use all the restaurants if you have the deluxe villas under all inclusive. You can use the buffet, and book the 'Lagoon Resturant' you can use the other restaurants but you will have to pay. You can also go to the Pizza Restaurant at 12.30 but only for lunch under the all inclusive, we didn't go because we couldn't seem to find it..! SNORKEL.. for the love of god don't waste all your time drinking around the pool.. you can do that in Greece. You are provided life jackets in your room, and you can hire all the snorkeling equipment from the building at the end of the jetty. If you Snorkel early, around 7am, you will see turtles and Octopuses you might see them off the edge of the jetty through the water. The sea is warm.…
