    Great place to explore
Horsburgh was my first stop in Maldives. Comfortable bed, en suite bathroom and a lovely garden as you step out of your room. I was lucky to stay there while they had a great chef from Sri Lanka- the food was amazing! There were a few guys looking after me and my friend. They showed us around the island, took us for snorkelling and scuba diving trips and they were just fantastic company. Highly recommend the place, I will definitely try to visit again :)

    5 days in Goidhoo
It may not easy to selfplan a first trip to Maldives, but with good help from Ismath and Amir everything went well. In Horsburgh guesthouse and Goidhoo Island people were friendly and we'd had lovely conversations about everything! Guesthouse has everything you need, it's clean and cosy. You'll be shown the 2 beaches nearby where you can get by cycle (borrowed those from guesthouse) - after that, just relaxing, snorkling and swimming. Best regards for everyone in Horsburgh guesthouse!

    Excellent island and guesthouse !
We visited Goidhoo during our February trip well organized by Wild Maldives team (we lived on 3 island and visited another 3+resort).I can say that this is 100 % unique experience. Island is very wild, not many tourists, full relaxation and serenity guaranteed, most of the days during our stay we found ourselves alone on the white sand tourist beach ! Guesthouse is very clean, modern, territory is green, features beautiful garden. Staff is extremely helpful, very attentive. They took great care of us since the moment we arrived - airport meet up, guided to speedboat and greeted us with refreshing drink on the island, organized several trips - fishing and uninhabited island were really great and fun. Food was always fresh, tasty and served on time , in a nice atmosphere.I can definitely recommend it, especially if you are looking for calm, peaceful vacation without tourist crowds.

We enjoyed staying here! Great staff, breakfasts and island! 🤍 We were very warmly welcomed - with coconut and flower beads ☺️ One thing - get more bikes, please! 🙏 only 2 is not enough, because it’s sooooo pleasant to have a ride to the beach, but you may not get it if you got up later than other guests

First time at Maldives and straight fell in love! What a wonderful island, so nice people and Horsburgh guesthouse was so nice place to spend time. Extremely friendly staff, exellent food, clean and big quiet rooms. Perfect for relax and enjoy beach life and nice local atmosphere. I have now travel 3 months, around south east asia, and this Goidhoo stop was best place during this trip. Really wish that we have time to come back. Best thing about Goidhoo was people. Every eavning I spent time with locals playing football and wolleyball. After that nice family dinner in Horsburgh guesthouse. Staff was superfriendly. Really like! 10 points!

Arrived here from Male with speedboat, was greeted by hotel staff at dock and we walked to hotel (just like 3-4 minutes to the hotel). Coconut water was waiting me at hotel and then I got briefed how everything works and some information about locals habits, which were all very good information to know. After lunch they accompanied me to the bikinibeach (which is about 5 min away by bike, they will lend you bikes from hotel), the beach was big, clean and beautiful. Also there is only 2 guesthouses at Goidhoo, so bikinibeach was very quiet, the first days I was the only one using it. The room was spacious and bed comfy, wi-fi worked fine, only minus (and it´s seriously not a big deal) is that there were no fridge at room but you could borrow hotels fridge outside which was nice. Location of the hotel is good, close to shops and waterfront. Keep in mind that it is a local island so you can´t run around the town in miniskirts and -tops. You can wear them to the beach, but at town you (ladies) should cover your shoulders and knees. I went fishing with (Amir or Ahmed, sorry I´m bad with names :)) and it was totally worth it. Caught some fishes, saw dolphins and manta jumping, also beautiful sunset from the boat. Also worth mentioning is that the food was amazing, I could decide what time I would like to eat both breakfast and lunch, and no matter what they served, the food was so tasty. Highly recommend staying at Horsburgh Island Guesthouse.

Thank you, Hussein, Ahmed and Amir for the perfectly arranged holiday. We loved your guesthouse and hospitality a lot. The guesthouse has nice small territory with dining space and a hammock and we loved the local food you served us. Although the beach is quite far, we used bicycles and for some days we were the only people on the beach which is also very relaxing. Thank you, Ahmed, for an unforgettable picnic trip to uninhabitat island - it was smazing. Wish prosperity to your guesthouse and hope to visit you again.

Our holiday on Goidhoo island was absolutely amazing thanks to Adam, Azha and all the other team members. They are doing everyhting with their hearts, and you can feel it in every detail at this lovely guesthouse. We were on full-board and the food was excellent, lots of fish and the Maldivian breakfast is a thing to remember and try to make this back at home. The bikini beach was lovely, you could get in the water in one place and the current took you to this shallow water where you could just walk back to the beach. Free wi-fi and toiletries in the guesthouse, and also free bikes. So you can go exploring the whole island with its huge crabs in the forest and also on the beach. Perfect spot for snorkelling as well, as Adam knows all the good places. We could see sharks, rays and many turtles not to mention the hundreds of colourful fish. Thank you for everything and keep up the good work!

11 of us were there for 5D5N including couples, family and young children. We find this as a hidden paradise if you like to travel with the local people and experience their lifestyle + sight seeing. This is a still non commercialism place where the local people here are friendly and sincere and having very relax, leisure time here. This guess house is very back to nature type where according to Adam, they pick the death tree from the island and make it the furniture by themselves. Air-cond and water heather is provided. Shall you like the cooling water, you might just enjoy the cooling water in the bathroom shower / hidden open air shower. The room is quite big with a living room. Advice to bring own toiletry, insect repellent (mosquitoes attack), sun glass, hat, sunblock and so on... We been enjoy so much with the arrangement by Adam and team where the activities is not too pack with just nice resting time and some spare time for us to visit the local people, the island itself. We been experience some activity like BBQ at sand bank, sunset fishing, snorkeling, sand bank sunrise + breakfast, swimming... We did visit the local people and join them in volley ball, basketball, swing, fishing, making dessert, tea break, local fish market, crab hunting... The staff is very friendly and hospitality as i told my friends that they are like Santa for me, they will try to answer everything i ask, show me / teach me (eg: dessert making/ the plant), they try to get what i requested done (reasonable only ya). The kitchen always prepare good food for us, we never felt hungry throughout stay in the guess house. Miss them once we leave the island.. Will go back a day soon.. Hope this help u all..
