Exceptionally Good! - within only a few metres from one of the finest longest beaches in the Maldives. Snorkelling excellent. This is more a boutique than resort hotel where service is excellent and you feel everyone genuinely cares about you. Vyctorija on the front desk and Hynek who oversees the property, were both professional, went far beyond what could be expected of them and made our stay memorable! Hermit’s restaurant was also very good….Bhupi and his brother Ravi are terrific, both devoted and sharing a warmth and eagerness to assist and Shivaanee too (who also smiles and is always so pleased to help) - however all of the team should be commended. The rooms are basic, clean but adequate - we stayed in the loft rooms that give you a little extra room and ideal for families. As Bliss is not on a resort island there is no alcohol but the fresh juice cocktails were sublime. The coffee is also made with care and the blend excellent - one cup is never enough! In fact the coffee could be compared to the best coffees in Italy or Greece. On the negative side the gym needs some attention but this is minor when you are beside one of the finest beaches in the world. Perfect place to relax if you are fed up with the large resort hotels with their buffets (“bun fights”) and impersonal service. If you prefer fine quality coffee, quality food and excellent individual service Bliss is for you. So good we booked to go again!…
We spent 9days on Dhigurah and stayed at the Bliss hotel. What an amazing place. The island is gorgeous, the hotel is just like on the photos. We had a spacious family room, new beach towels and a bottle of water every day. The mini fridge was very convenient. The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. The restaurant, Hermit's is amazing, the food is super tasty, we miss it every day. Highly recommended!
One of the best places to stay on the island. service very nice and friendly. Very good location of the guest house 3-4 minutes walk to the bikini beach. They organize great trips. Fresh towels for the room and for the beaches every day. clean and pleasant. One disadvantage is that the rooms are poorly soundproofed and you can hear everything. My hearfelt thanks to manager of hotel and all staff. Keep going! You are doing great work!
We walked around the island and saw every other hotel and hands-down I'd say that Bliss is the best place to stay in Dhigurah. First of all, the food is excellent - I'm not sure how they manage to get quality ingredients to the island but they do! The location is perfect - steps from a picture-perfect beach, and just a few more steps to the "bikini beach." The rooms are quite small, but crisply clean and well-decorated, with a nice bright-blue-and-white theme that is simple without being boring. They also manage to fit everything into the small space - bed, desk, chair, bedside table, and even a clothesline in the bathroom for your wet swimsuits! The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the tiny balcony outside the room was a nice touch. They do have a roof bar and chairs, but the time of year we were there, I think it was just starting to be tourist season, so the roof wasn't quite "open" yet - it seemed a bit neglected. Whenever it is open and active, I think it would be a lovely space. The lobby is very well-decorated and clean as well. They have all the activities that one could want, at what is probably half the price of the resort islands. Walking around the lovely island is nice as well - the longer walk to the end of the island is quite worth it - it's absolutely beautiful. The staff are a highlight - very courteous and helpful. The resort did make one or two small errors with our booking, but they MORE than made it right - which is all you can ask for! I was so pleased that they acknowledged the (small!) mishaps, apologized, and found solutions. They should be commended for this, as many other hotels would just treat you like cash cows and not endeavor to fix problems. Bliss clearly cares about their guests. The manager is lovely as well. I would 100000% recommend a stay a Bliss!…
We had a lovely stay with our family. The staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and cosy. The excursions are really nice. The food in the restaurant is really good quality. The location is beautiful and it is easy to get to and from the island.
Perfect location, smart friendly personal, tasty food, nice design. 200 characters is too much for review. Thats why i just write here something just to satisfy this unsoul machine. My opinion that Bliss is best hotel at this island.
Our first Maldives local experience had been great thank to Bliss: very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, smiling and always available staff. The hotel and the loft are well laid out and cared for in the right way to be in a sea contest. Point to know: tv are not connected to network
I spent 10 days at Bliss in December for a yoga retreat. The hotel is very close to the “bikini beach” and the setting and design of the place are just lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast and meals delicious and oh, the coffee... I certainly was not not expecting to find a great espresso on an island as remote as Dhigurah! There is much to say about the attractiveness of this hotel. However, Bliss has something which can't be bought: top service. Bliss has the most helpful and friendly staff, creating a welcoming, relaxed and joyful atmosphere that is much appreciated as a guest. I just felt right at home during my whole stay. So bravo, Bliss team! Please don't let anything ruin the local charm that your hotel has. I hope to come back one day. In the meantime, Bliss will be one of the “hidden gems” I share with my travel-loving friends :-). …
The best stay in the Maldives if you want to stay on an inhabited island, have a fantastic beach as well as a wonderful place to stay. The place is Bliss!❤️❤️❤️ The rooms are lovely. Hermits the cafe is one of the best by far and the chef is fantastic. All the staff are friendly, helpful and if you want to do a trip - just add your name to a board. We came back to Dhigurah to stay at Bliss / so wonderful! Dhigurah has good snorkelling and the beach is one of the longest and the best. With so much space - you don’t need to trip over people, Having also visited Ukalhas - Dhigurah is quieter with so much space,. Although we didn’t dive there is lots of diving and snorkelling with whale sharks and mantas. We also took the local ferry to Haimadoo and Dangete which was fun, We will definitely come back to Bliss and would recommend you to stay there! I know we will! Thank you Bliss for making our stay so perfect❤️…
Our stay here was great, for sure we will come back, comfortable and clean, and the staff so LOVELY and AMAZING did all possible to make our stay memorable, always with smile and helpful. Thank you for taking such good care of us. Hermit's restaurant has yummy and delicious food and the nicest team that will take perfect care of you ❤️, they even gave us recipe for best ever brownie. Don't miss-out this place and their coco ice cream
