Booked this with my friend and the owner didn't even come to the gate to let us in. I called him and he replied' Were full' and put the phone down. Would not cancel the booking so I was going to lose my money $600 :(. had to ring Booking.com for them to deal with it. Avoid at all cost!!! :( Rude manager

This Inn / Guesthouse was Terrible, I arrived at 7:30 pm at the Hotel, it was dark and locked. The Island is really small and there was no place to go.. so I knocked on the door ( more like Hammered ) till some one answered. A half Naked Srilankan over weight man came to the door ! he asked me what I was doing there ! I told him I had a booking and showed him the booking.com conformation !, he told me this is no longer a guesthouse, as their company is using the whole house as a labour camp ! We then Tried calling the number Booking.com has listed as a contact number I personally called that number 20 Times !!!! no one answered !!!!! by now it was 9:00 pm at night on a small Island, and I had no where to go; to sleep; to eat nothing ! It was a horrible harrowing experience, I then called some one in Male who helped me out with a room in another place!!! If I get charged for this booking I will take some one to court ! I would advise booking.com to remove this place from your list ! Can you Imagine not having a room at night in a small strange Island in the Middle of nowhere in a strange place! and on top of it no one answers the phone listed in the booking ! Just terrible ...

My sister and I went for a 6 day break in August 2016 and took a seaplane to Kudahuvadhoo after staying overnight in Male and took the 1 pm flight to Kudahuvadhoo it was a great seaplane experience with the plane landing at a local resort near Kudahuvadhoo and the Kudahuvadhoo staff were waiting for us at the resort to bring us to Kudahuvadhoo which is a few minutes away. This was easier for us than to take speedboat as we were both senior citizens and did not want too much travel by speedboat. It was a lovely journey seeing all the blue atolls from the seaplane. The staff at the Kudahuvadhoo Inn are so helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the desert islands experience are unbelievable and they more than compensate for not having the sea view at the inn as the desert islands trips are affordable , and only a few minutes by speedboat compared to prices luxury resorts charge and you could spend all day if you want there . We visited several of the nearby deserted islands and and had picnics there The calm turquoise sea colours are stunningly beautiful and peaceful The food we requested were delicious Maldivian dishes and they also cooked the fish we caught during our fishing trip. the owner Ibrahim and his team with Ahmed S always there to ensure that your stay is a memorable experience We also saw the surf sites near by for those that surf. Overall We have the most memorable , family friendly break and we left the place which welcomed us as family ,the kindness and helpfulness and their generosity will always be remembered Thank you Ibrahim and Ahmed and your team

Maldives was not destination on my list, for several reasons..expensive resorts, and what to do there with 2 teenagers. Then I found Kudahuvadhoo Inn. At first, I taught it willl be boring to my kids, but on contrary, they enjoyed much more than in some places, with a lot more facilities. Choosing Kudahovadhoo enables also to feel culture and life of Maldives. The island does not have bikini beach, as on the place of previous one, they are building airport. Instead of that, owners of guesthouse will take you to beautiful nearby uninhabited islands, where you can feel all beauty of nature. They were also bringing lunch to us there, so we was full day on the beach. Islands have beautiful coral reafs, where you can enjoy snorkeling. Among colorful fish, we encountered there manta and baby sharks. (trips are charged for fair price - 10 USD/person). People on the island are very friendly, nice. There is nothing much to do there except evening walk, or colecting shells, but, after all day on the beach, we felt tired for anything else. Hotel and stuff: The most friendly and helpfull stuff. We all enjoyed their company and kindness. We were satisfied with our rooms...lets say basic, but if you compare with Greece for ex., this is high above incl. aircon. Food is tasy, Maldivian. You will have opportunity to enjoy exotic fruits, like papaya, mango, coconut.., also different fish. They prepared for kids separately, as they are not really fisheaters. Our hosts prepared for us nice barbeque farewell diner with other guests, which we apreciated very much. You can book full board, and that is more than enough. I sugesst it as there are no other places to eat on the island. Location: Be prepared that speadboat runs 2 times er week, so you might have to stay one night at Male or Hulhumale. Ask hosts, or book by your self.. It takes 3,5 to 4h from Male to Kudahuvadhoo or vice vs. Waether: Since we were wvsiting place in "rainy season", I was afraid that we will loose some days. On contrary, rain falls for usualy 15 min. Max was 1h. I did not feel it as disturbance, because afterwards, sun is shining again. Once we was caught in the rain shower, but decided to swim, and rain past quickly. What else to say..this is the first time that my teenagers said that they would like to stay longer.

My family of 3 spent the last four days of March 2016 at the very homely and lovely Kudahuvadhoo Inn. Price is very reasonable if not the cheapest. The owner manager went to great extent to make sure that your stay is pleasantly unforgettable! You can snorkel near the beach at nearby picnic island or just couple of hundred metres away from the main island you can easily find bigger marine fishes. We spotted small pods of doplhins, flying fish and even turtles. Luxury boats anchored nearby for the keen surfers. We went fishing with simple hook and line and were so thrilled to catch a couple of more than 30kg (at least 1.2m long) swordfish type of fish plus other smaller ones like snapper and coral fish. So we get to eat different fresh fish everyday for lunch and dinner besides the local or western breakfast whichever you prefer. The owner himself is a very good cook and you will not go hungry for sure! The level of service is so very friendly and hospitable that went beyond expectation! Very highly recommended and truly worth the slightly long travel time. Go for it!
