Detailed Reviews
The island is stunning. It truly is paradise and one of your bucket list destinations. The rooms are beautiful. Decorated elegantly and the layout with the bathroom Over a glass panel floor so the fish are swimming below. We had a sunset villa and sat and watched this each night which was breathtaking. The beach is perfect with white sands and crystal blue waters. Location wise, it is perfection. The island is well looked after and the layout is ideaL.
Sadly we arrived and were abandoned in a room and told our rooms would not be ready for a further hour which ended up being closer to two. We took ourselves off and walked around the island. We had packed costume and shirts so if there had been a suitable place to change, we would have got on and started our trip. I did finally ask our butler Anna when she reappeared but the shower/toilet room was soaked from divers using it to shower down so not inviting to change in and we chose to wait it out. We eventually went to our rooms but one piece of luggage was now missing and it took half an hour for it to arrive meaning we still couldn’t get on and head back to the beach. Given your butler is the only person to communicate with, I don’t think we got a comprehensive explanation of exactly what we could and couldn’t do/have.
There is only one main restaurant, do not entertain the Japanese one, we went and sat at the tepanyaki table hoping to have dinner cooked in front of us but received a pre cooked meal (no choice) from the restaurant downstairs. I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life but I did this one and we went down to the main one. 3 other couples followed us soon after. Main restaurant food is excellent and the staff are great too BUT a set menu every night? It was obvious, particularly at lunchtime that another menu existed, probably for non all inclusive guests but surely ALL INCLUSIVE means you get access to everything and their food options were frequently better than ours! I would say that overall the food was good but the lack of choice and when we chose to miss lunch, there was nothing else to get til supper, no ice cream cart or anything (other than ordering room service - again at an extra price which in all other inclusives is always part of the deal. We didn’t seem to gain anything by being all inclusive. We only had one cocktail a day on the beach. Also whilst occasionally a guest would get a drink brought to them on the beach, there certainly was no beach service and you had to go to the bar itself round by the water sports.
On departure day we had a 3 hour gap from room departure to boat departure and were lead to believe that the only place to shower up was at the dive centre, which gave me the impression of a water sports changing room. We were pleasantly surprised to find air conditioned rooms with all the amenities which allowed us to enjoy our last hours on the beach. Maybe let guests arriving early mornings use these to change in too then they won’t get annoyed about losing holiday hours when their rooms are not ready???
It’s a beautiful part of the world and I would visit again but sadly would pick a different hotel group next time.

WE stayed one night in Hulhumale and then next day morning came to Vadoo island. The transfer is available at the airport Jetty , and they have a counter at AIrport as well. The transfer by speed boat is chargeable and takes 15 minutes from Male.
The welcome was grand with garland and chilled coconut water. We waited for some time at the waiting lounge and after formalities got transferred by a cart with our designated butler Vijendra. The Island is a tiny piece of land and it takes just 10 minutes to take a full round of the island . In fact on the main island only reception , restaurants the main swimming pool etc are located. The guest cottages are only only over the water ans accessible by wooden pathway built over the shallow sea water. The pathway is long (approx 400 meters), and on both sides of that the cottages are located. One side Sunrise cottages and opposite side sunset cottages. We stayed at the cottage number 832. Inside the room there are tea and coffee maker, TV, sound system. They also offered complementary fruit platter and a bottle of sparking wine. The bottled water was available in abundance.
The cottage is beautifully built 1000 square feet private bungalow wit hall modern amenities including mini bar, shower enclosure, Jacuzzi bathtub. The backside has a private deck with seating arrangement a very cozy private splash pool. All the cottages here has private splash pool. From the deck you can get down to the sea through the private steps from the Villa. The life jackets and scuba equipment are available for free. You can get down into the sea and enjoy a breath taking scuba diving with a view of colourful marine animals. With only blue sky and deep blue water in front of your eyes you feel time has stopped.
The restaurant is on the main island and buffet breakfast is having excellent spread and food quality is also fantastic. We ordered one lunch at the Villa and enjoyed the same on our deck- awesome experience! On the main island there is a big swimming pool, a beach side bar and adventure centre from where lot of adventure sports are available at additional charge.
In the evening the drink at the deck above sea was such a beautiful experience. Every evening around 5 pm the fish feeding activities take place close to the main island. You can see various and colourful fish during that period.
Overall the service level was excellent, all the Villas are attached to a private butler who takes care of the guests really well. Our butler was Vijendra , was always available by call for anything we wanted. He was more than happy to help always with a smiling face.
Overall an excellent stay!

My wife and I stayed here at the end of December through New Years. (They threw a huge New Years bash!) Upon arrival we were told we booked the all inclusive package with a personal butler (Vijendra) which was an excellent surprise. We ate and drank like Kings and Queens. The staff is very accommodating to your every need to the point where some guests takes advantage of this with ordering every item on the menu to just take photos of the food. Our day was jam packed with breakfast 6:30am -10, lunch 12:30-2pm, tea time at 4:30, 5:30 fish feeding and then dinner 7:30-10pm was all inclusive. Drank 16 different types of white and red wine. Mini fridges was alway stocked with our favorite drinks. Ate local maldivian breakfast on our last day here. We had a special sushi dinner one night which was booked by our butler. The amenities were great. Our villa had a plunge pool which you can see from the bed at the front and a hot tub in the back area. We had the sunrise view with steps that lead down to the beach. Felt very comfortable all the time and didn’t hear anything next to us even though there was only one villa sharing our entry way. Parasailing, scuba diving, jet skiing is all available at an additional cost. However, you can just relax at the beach near the bar and go snorkeling which that equipment is also included. I would recommend bringing water shoes seeing that the beach/reef area has is lined with coral. The Adaaran live up to my wife’s dream honeymoon!!!

We visited Adaaran Prestige Vadoo in Jan 2021 for 4 days, booked all inclusive honeymoon villa, it was a great experience with a very humble and cheerful staff, we were able to see bioluminescent planktons during our stay, Mr. Saurabh our butler made all efforts to make our stay memorable, from beach dinner to chocolates everyday he was always there whenever required. Mr. Nalaka took care of us at restaurant, from the first day itself he learnt that we are vegetarians and he made it his duty to ensure we eat everything which is veg and egg less, he was so sweet that he customised burgers and sandwiches which had a veg patty, thanks to you man and those spring rolls were awesome we still remember them. Mr. Husain who made our room everyday was so good that one day he forgot to fill coffee sachets and went back to his room but soon he realised it by himself he came back to provide us. Thanks a lot Husain for the lovely, neat and clean room everyday.
I wish everyone at Adaaran good luck and keep providing guests with a good hospitality.

When you pay online good chunk of money and wonder if the property will be as good as it is in pics or the reviews seem to be too good to be to true, lay peace to your mind as once you get off the boat and step foot on the property you will be star struck. The beach, the villas and the cleanliness just makes you pamper yourself each day more you stay here.
The first couple of days we just laid back and enjoyed our private pool and snorkeled right in front of our villa. Got tired headed to the restaurant, had food came back to villa slept and the again repeat. The noise the waves make somehow makes you even relaxed. There was butler assigned to our villa and he was super sweet and made sure to guide us the throughout the property so we could get more bang for our buck.
The beach is pristine and getting awesome pictures is just walk in the park owing to the beautiful location and serenity. A great treasure to be cherished at least once in your lifetime.

It took us 20 min by speedboat to arrive at this wonderful quaint resort. The island as such is a small one, but has all the facilities and activities you would wish for your holiday.
The welcome was as per covid safety protocol.. bags were even sanitized in front of us. Rachel gave us clear instructions on what to do and check in was very smooth.
The beautiful turquiose waters will make the travelling worth it.. Snorkelling equipment is given free of charge and can be kept with you till your departure.. use it to swim in the beach area.. or walk straight into the ocean from your room.
Ah, the room ! HUGE!! it featured a marshall's bluetooth speakers which was very nice! The plunge looks bigger in pictures than in real.. the ocean bed is almost chest height and pretty safe in the morning time.. be careful while stepping on the corals.
The bathroom is the highlight here~! We had a slab of glass fitted on the floor which made us see the water below.. at night, a blue light made this even more ethereal....
Totally a couple's destination.
You can see sharks being fed at 5 pm.. Enjoy a drink at their main bar at night.
Special shout out to Mr. Nalake at the restaurant.. he is so damn cute and sweet.. The food is damn tasty here, and good selection of veg items..
Only hitch i experienced is that the housekeeping is not that great. We were not even informed that only alternate days, rooms will be cleaned etc.
Mr.bhandara was always cheerful while picking and dropping us to the villa.
One heads up, be ready to jump up while trying to sit on the vadoo swing. i was damn scared!
the pool and the sunset bar are good places to lounge and just chill. the cocktails were yum too !!
Do not miss the sunset cruise and make sure u sit up on the deck. !
Lovely Resort.. i will definitely be back again, someday!

I cannot say enough about our stay at Vadoo Prestige it was an absolutely wonderful time. Even though we are dealing with the pandemic you would never know here. Their safety measures are top notch sanitizer everywhere and temperature checks several times a day. They made us feel so safe wearing masks even the grounds keepers! We have never felt safer! The staff was fantastic from the housekeeping to our private butler Abdull - I can’t say enough good things- the room was absolutely beautiful and the island was amazing! Nala was our server for the meals catering to our every need and suggesting great food! Lahuri in water sports was so attentive and actually taught me to snorkel. Madu at the dohoni bar made us some awesome drinks - we have made friends for life and had a vacation of a lifetime ❤️❤️❤️

Been here but seems like being cheated when we book direct online as we did not take a good look on their all inclusive package. Remember when booking need to see which resort you stay as their all inclusive is very misleading not every resort Adaaran give is the same all inclusive package. When you see dine around at Vadoo do not believe as they only got one restaurant operating in breakfast and lunch and most of their waiter is inexperienced. Their Japanese restaurant is ala carte menu but what they serve that day is that no other option. Just take note do check out properly before you book from them. With the price I paid $5k SGD I can get many other better resort with better service and F&B.

The Adaaran Prestige Vadoo was a wonderful resort for our to start our honeymoon. They were so welcoming and took such great care of us. From our airport pick up to check in everything was seamless. Our bags did not make it to Male from DXB and they worked it out with the airline directly and somehow the next day the bags were in our room. It was like magic and no stress for us to worry about.
Our butler Vijendra was amazing. He was so kind and very quick to respond any time we had a question. He made reservations for dinner for us and made sure that we even had a snack for our journey home since it was early in the morning and the breakfast service hadn't started yet. He was awesome and really made our trip so special!
The rooms were very clean and the entire staff was so friendly. The food was also so delicious. The dinner service was lovely in the evening especially when they had live music playing.
I would definitely recommend this resort to any family or couple looking for a resort in the Maldives!
