Had to stay at Afan Lodge after being driven out of the mosquito infested campsite at Glencorwg centre. But what a piece of luck - great accommodation and safe bike store. Plus lovely rooms, food and drinks. And everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommmend it - and we'll be back for another stay now!

We stayed at the Afan Lodge when visiting friends that live nearby and were impressed by the place. Given that it caters for mountain bikers, hikers and other recreational pursuits, we didn't quite know what to expect. The room had great aircon and superb views over the Afan Forest. The wifi was very patchy but one could get a decent...

We chose Afan lodge because it was only 7 miles from Margam Park where the Dragon ride starts and the Hotel advertised secure bike storage. At the last minute we were kindly allowed to add a third person to our room and a camp bed was placed was given to us. The room was plenty large enough to cope with...

Always wanted to stay at this gem and finally managed it. Great location between all the rides, didn't have to move the car for the whole weekend, just rode my bike. Every member of staff that we met were happy and eager to help which was refreshing. Clean large rooms, nice bar which served a fab Merlot and good restaurant...

Yes this is primarily a MtB, Road Bike, and walking lodge, but it is maintained very, very well. It is clean as a whistle in the public areas and sleeping rooms. I am not sure why, but the sleeping rooms make for a great night's sleep with nice air flow and temperature, even when it is hot. The view down...

This hotel is perfectly kitted out specifically to cater for road cyclists and mountain bikers. There is a great terrace by the bar to sit at after a long day in the saddle and get some 'recovery drinks' in. The food is served all day. Breakfast is early and well suited to riding. The rooms are comfortable and very spacious....

Although I didn't actually stay, I worked for a family as babysitter for them two daughters, over three days. Their bedroom was a family room, well appointed and en suite, with p!enty of storage space.lively views overlooking the valley too. The bar and restaurant offers a good range of home cooked food, I finding yummy home made cakes, for afternoon...
