Always pack for extreme cold!! Book if you want to sleep in a chalet!! It might seem expensive but it is worth it. Clean bedding hot shower good food - but you need to make a reservation if you want to eat!

Yes. The trip up takes about two hours with the photo stops. There isn’t much to do at the top unless you like walking - walk along top of mountain for some spectacular shots of the winding road you have just travelled... More
